Ni-Zn ferrite has a cubic spinel type crystal structure whose general formula is AB2O4, where A represents a divalent cation in tetrahedral interstices and B a trivalent cation in octahedral interstices.
The synthesis technique by combustion reaction is based on the thermodynamic concepts of the chemistry of propellants and explosives, involving redox reaction mixtures that contain the metal ions of interest, such as oxidizing reagents, and a fuel, usually urea [CO (NH2)2] or glycine (C2H5NO2) as a reducing agent [11, 14].
To carry out the combustion reaction of the starting mixture, the ratio of each reagent was calculated according to the reactive valences of the elements established stoichiometrically based on the concepts of the chemistry of propellants and explosives [15].
The structures of the samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (SHIMADZU XRD 6000 X-ray diffractometer), under CuKa radiation.

The interaction between turbulence and combustion was evaluated using the combined Finite Rate Chemistry/Eddy Dissipation model [4].
The bsl RSM RANS turbulence model and the combined Finite Rate Chemistry / Eddy Dissipation combustion model were used in the numerical computations.
