Keywords: impinging jets, ANSYS CFX, turbulence, vertical or short take-off and landing aircraft (VSTOL),wind gusts.
Several studies have been carried out by Barata et al [1] on the turbulence characteristics of a jet impacting a flat surface in the presence of a transverse flow by varying the jet Reynolds number between 60,000 to 120,000.Klein [2] studied the influence of the Reynolds number on the behavior of a plane jet.
Recker et al [3] carried out an experimental study for a round jet on a transverse flow with a weak momentum ratior=Pj.Uj2P∞.U∞2=1 and a Reynolds number Re = 1600.
Barata et al [6] studied experimentally two impinging jets aligned with a cross-flow.
Guo et al [11] numerically studied the velocity and turbulent kinetic energy for a lateral jet in cross flow by varying Vj / U0 = 1, 2 and 4.

Mitsak et al. (2011) [15] pointed out that that the minimum compressive strength for scaffolds used in bone regeneration is 2 MPa, which is below that of the RP scaffolds.

Bertsimas et al. compute directions pointing away from all worst-case realizers and show that
such directions are descent directions for the (unconstrained) robust counterpart, which is a minimax
problem [6].

Pereira et. al. [11] studied the steel surface modifications induced by irradiation of several
lasers in air.
The effect of laser surface treatment on the intergranular corrosion resistance of stainless steel was investigated by Betrabet et al [16].

Bhatti et al
Recently, Farooq and Lin [66], Farooq et al. [67] and Farooq et al. [68] have successfully applied BVPh 2.0 to different nano-fluids problems.
Here we have revisited the problem tackled by Bhatti et al. [45] by including thermal radiation.
In Tables 3 and 4, the local skin friction coefficient f''(0) for different values of α1 are seen to be in excellent agreement with those reported by Wang [25], Mahapatra et al. [36], Fan et al. [30] and Kumar and Sood [42].
