This enhancement is attributed to decreased heat transfer, improved interlayer bonding, and lower porosity of the printed specimens (Vatandaş et al., 2024).
Fereydoonpour et al., (2025) studied the 4D printed PLA/TPU bi-material metamaterials and reported that as TPU increases in proportion to PLA, shape memory properties, particularly fixity and recovery ratios would be enhanced.

Barra et al. [37] carried out the valorisation of soils with cement and slag for usage in low trafficked roads, they majorly focused on the bearing capacity of the soil.
This is also in agreement with the previous findings by Adedokun et al. [3].
The observed effect of steel slag on soil correlates well with the findings of the studies conducted by Sas et al. [71] and Shalabi et al. [69].
