Initially the properties of geopolymeric binder prepared using the source materials such as Fly ash and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) without conventional cement have been investigated.
Ferrocement has superior advantages over other roofing materials and could well play a major role in housing construction in developing countries.

Experimental process
2.1 Materials
The ceramic powders is 3Y-ZrO2 (Guangdong Orient Zirconic Industry Science and technology Co., Ltd.) with an average size of 1 um (D50).
From Fig.2, it is easy to know the phases of materials (A-F) are all tetragonal phase.
The different materials molding can’t change the phase structure of 3Y-ZrO2.
