For example, 1,6-diaminohexane, which has a six carbon linkage between two amino groups, is a stable basic diamino compound with strong amine odor. 1,6-Diaminohexane was primarily utilized in for the polymer manufacture, such as nylon and polyurethane, by taking advantage of its bis-functional structure [2–4].
In addition, the structures of the bis-functionalized 1,8-diaminooctane derivatives were characterized with NMR and MS.

The mesoporous structures have been proved and the effect of different cosurfactants on pore sizes of mesoporous silica nanofibers has been investigated.
Subsequently, the result nanofiber membrane was aged at 90 °C for 1 h to perfect liquid crystalline structure.
This proper aging process was essential to stabilize and to control the mesoporous structures before removal of the structure-directing agent.
Thereafter, the nanofiber membrane was calcined at 550 °C in air for 6 h to remove the structure-directing agent and PMMA completely.
The characterization has given evidence for the highly ordered mesoporous structures.
