Materials. γ-Al2O3 (Merck) as catalyst support, precursor (NH4)6Mo7O24.4H2O (Merck) and [H3PO4], Ni(NO3)2.6H2O (Merck) as the source of the active nucleus, ethylene glycol or EG (Merck) and glycerol (Bratachem Idonesia) as polyols, KBr (Merck) as a stabilizer compound, HCl (Merck) 3M, (NH4)2S, KOH (Merck) 0.8 M and NaOH (Merck) 0.2 M as solvents on the formation of polynuclear hydroxocomplexes.
From the formed pore size where all results show a pore size of 2 < material < 50 nm, the catalyst has a pore size that is classified as mesopore and is suitable for conducting bio-jet synthesis reactions.
