It has a hexagonal layered structure with two polymorphs, which are designated as α-Ni(OH)2 and β-Ni(OH)2, respectively.
The broad asymmetric band at around 33º is assigned to (101) reflection, which is attributed to turbostratic structures of α-Ni(OH)2[7].
Both of the isotherms are identified as type IV which indicates that the peonylike structures belong to the mesoporous family[17, 18].
Summary In summary, α-Ni(OH)2 peonylike structures constructed with curly nanosheets were successfully synthesized by a facile hydrothermal method.
