A Slicer Control System Based on PLC and Servo
Abstract:
The slicer control system designed for production plants to manufacture flap disks was investigated using programmable logic controller (PLC) and servo. This system has been mainly developed to achieve the automatic flaps’ cutting and setting. It is implemented by a PLC, a human-machine interface(HMI), a positioning module, and senors, as well as servo amplifiers and motors. In the present work, the effect of response time on multi-axis synchronization has been studied. It was shown that the use of parameter adjustment allows the obtainment of reliable operating characteristic and permits one to enormously improve the accuracy of feeding length and rotation angle. The control system has been provided for industrial applications.
