The 40th volume of the journal "Advanced Engineering Forum" compiles from peer-reviewed manuscripts presenting the engineering solutions and research results dealing with contemporary problems in applied materials and processing technologies in mechanical engineering, applied mechanics and practice of designing, predictive control technique for a wind turbine system. The professionals, students, and scientific investigators working in the various engineering fields will find this volume of value.
This proceeding is composed of contributions that present the research of PhD and masters candidates from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. These contributions were presented at the 5th annual conference "Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology in Civil Engineering 2016". The conference was held in Prague on June 15, 2016.
The organizers are pleased by the enthusiasm of students and professional public who regularly participate at conference and that the number of participants is constantly increasing. The traditional "nano-related" topics were extended to bring new insights into measurement and testing of microstructures or properties of materials on level at nano- and micro-scale.Papers from the Industrial Technology and Engineering Symposium are presented in this book tittled Current Materials for Industrial Technologies and Engineering Practice. The book offers the latest discussions and findings in the areas of functional polymeric materials and applications, textile science and functional materials, engineering composites and hybrid materials. It involves the development and improvement of equipments and tests, materials, analysis and synthesis, as well as mathematical modelling. It also includes physical analysis together with the principles and methods of industrial and engineering design to specify, predict and evaluate the results obtained for the embitterment of the technologies and materials corresponding to the need of the society.
