Synthesis techniques, process characterization and structural analysis of several types of materials such as nanocomposites and optical materials are interesting discussions that are specifically comprised here in one of the chapters. Special chapters related to research on natural materials and fundamental science related to the observation of physical properties, etc. are also presented in this book.
The book will be helpful to a wide range of specialists in the field of material sciences, mechanical engineering, construction, environmental protection, applied mechanics and signal and image processing.
This book collected articles based on the results of scientific and engineering research in the area of structural metals treatment, their corrosion behaviour and corrosion protection, features of friction welding technologies, properties of glasses, functional ceramics and materials for micro- and optoelectronics and also of various cement replacement materials. The special edition will be helpful to specialists in machinery, micro- and optoelectronics and construction.
This book presents the latest ideas and technologies in the sphere of advanced materials science and nanotechnology, specifically: the analysis of ceramics and glass properties, steel corrosion, results on the mechanics of materials (modelling and experimental testing), materials polishing processes, 3D technology, and chemical engineering. The book is based on the results of the 11th ICAMEM held virtually on March 29-30, 2022.
This volume compiled from materials presented at the 7th International Conference on Solid State Science and Technology 2019 (7th ICSSST 2019, November 11-13, 2019 in Putrajaya, Malaysia) and reflects recent results in the area of materials science and processing technologies. The conference was jointly organized by the Centre for Defence Foundation Studies, National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) as host, in cooperation with the Malaysian Solid State Science and Technology Society (MASS). "Enhancing Science and Technology of Advanced Materials for the Fourth Industrial Revolution" was the theme of the conference, and the aim was to provide a platform for the science and technology community to discuss the latest developments and findings.
