The Study of the Precision Grinder Bed Thickness with Artificial Granite Composite

Studied the basic properties of artificial granite composite, and with the basic properties of cast iron materials were compared; for precision grinder bed design criteria were discussed, obtained affect the dynamic stiffness of the bed several elements. The use of Pro / e software to establish of precision grinder bed model, and by Ansys software using different bed materials were carried out modal analysis. The results show that the same structure and size, the dynamic performance of cast iron bed is slightly better; optimization and analysis of the bed, conclude that when the wall thickness increased to 4 times, artificial granite composite bed get the best dynamic performance. The paper provides the theoretical basis of artificial granite composite used in manufacture of precision grinder machine bed
