Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a novel eye location method based on Adaboost and region features. Firstly, Haar features and Adaboost algorithm are used to extract the eye regions from a face image. Then, we highlight the characteristics of eyes to eye location. The method proposed have been tested in the CAS-PEAL-R1 database and CASIA NIR database separately, and the accuracy rate is 98.86% and 97.68%, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the method

Abstract: Vision system is an important part of the whole robot soccer system. In order to win the game, the robot system must be more quick and more accuracy.A color image segmentation method using improved seed-fill algorithm in YUV color space is introduced in this paper. The new method dramatically reduces the work of calculation, and speeds up the image processing. The result of comparing it with the old method based on RGB color space was showed in the paper. The second step of the vision sub system is identification the color block that separated by the first step.A improved seed fill algorithm is used in the paper. The implementation on MiroSot Soccer Robot System shows that the new method is fast and accurate.

Abstract: In this paper, inspired by the idea of the S-Tree Coding (STC), we propose an improved STC image compression method by using the Nonoverlapping Non-symmetry and Anti-packing Model (NNAM) and the extended shading approach, which is called the NNAM Coding (NNAMC) method. In our method, the encoding can be performed in O(n log n) time and the decoding can be performed in O(n) time, where n denotes the number of pixels in a gray image. By comparing our proposed NNAMC method with the conventional STC method, the experimental results presented in this paper show that the former can significantly reduce the lower bit rate and the number of homogenous blocks than the latter whereas remaining the satisfactory image quality.

Abstract: In this paper, by controlling the ratio of the length and the width of a homogenous block, we proposed an improved algorithm for the gray image representation by using the Rectangular Non-symmetry and Anti-packing Model Coding (RNAMC) and extended shading approach, which is called the IRNAMC image representation method. Also, we present an IRNAMC representation algorithm of gray images. By comparing our proposed IRNAMC method with the conventional S-Tree Coding (STC) method, the experimental results presented in this paper show that the former can significantly reduce the lower bit rate and the number of homogenous blocks than the latter whereas remaining the satisfactory image quality. Also, the experimental results show that by controlling the ratio of the length and the width, we can improve the reconstructed image quality of the RNAMC method.

Abstract: Let G be a simple graph with vertex set V(G) and edge set E(G), and let Z2=(0,1) For a given binary edge labeling f:E(G)→Z2,the edge labeling f induces a partial vertex labeling f*:V(G)→Z2 such that f*(v)=1(0) iff the number of 1-edges (0-edges) is strictly greater than the number of 0-edges (1-edges) incident to , otherwise f*(v) is undefined. For i∈Z2, let v(i)=card(e∈V(G):f*(v)=i) and e(i)=card(e∈E(G):f(e)=i). The edge-balance index sets of a graph G,EBI(G), is defined as {|v(0)-v(1): the edge labeling f satisfies } . In this paper, we completely determine the edge-balance index |e(0)-e(1)|≤1 sets of the graph Cn×Pb(n=0,1,2 mod 6)

Abstract: The Non-symmetry and Anti-packing Model (NAM) is an effective pattern representation model. In this paper, a new NAM image representation method by using the nonoverlapping square subpatterns, which is called the square NAM (SNAM) representation, is proposed. The idea of the SNAM representation is described. The square subpattern has its own significant characteristics when it is compared with other subpatterns such as the triangle and the rectangle, etc. Unlike the general triangle subpattern which needs to record three vertices of the triangle and unlike the rectangle subpattern which needs to record the coordinates of its starting point, length and width, the square subpattern needs to record only its starting point and the side. Therefore, as far as a single record of the square subpattern is concerned, it can save storage space more effectively. The theoretical and experimental results presented in this paper prove the efficiency and the effectiveness of the proposed SNAM representation method for binary images.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a novel gray image representation method based on the non-symmetry and anti-packing model (NAM) by using the nonoverlapping square subpatterns, which is called the square NAM for gray images (SNAMG) representation method. Also, a SNAMG representation algorithm is put forward and the storage structures, the total data amount, and the time complexity of the proposed algorithm are analyzed in detail. By taking some standard gray images, such as ‘F16’ and ‘Peppers’, as the typical test objects, and comparing the proposed algorithm with those of the triangle NAM for gray images (TNAMG) and the classic linear quadtree (LQT), the theoretical and experimental results show that the former is obviously superior to the latter with respect to the numbers of subpatterns (nodes) and the data storage, and therefore it is a better method to represent the gray image pattern.

Abstract: The traditional method to introduce the design of snow flower fractal graphics is to give fixed graphics in black color. In this paper, a new learning environment of triangle fractal graphics based on E-Learning is proposed, development of which is also introduced in detail. In this new learning environment, students can repeat drawing the colorful snow flower fractal graphics with single color or random color, which may arouse the students' interests and attract their attentions. By the learning environment, the fractal limitation or fixed point can be seen, and two different kinds of snow flower can be got when the IFS code is changed, which will do benefit to students' learning concepts of fractal graphics. By this new learning environment, it is very easy for students to grasp the programming procedure of fractal graphics, and understand the generation procedure and structure of triangle fractal graphics.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of the traditional Tercom, which is sensitive to the speed error and yaw angle error, an improved Tercom approach using with fading factor is introduced. The basic idea of this approach is to estimate the navigation position by a novel correlation function. The correlation function is calculated by weighted historical measurements. Experiment results with the real data show that this approach performs better than the traditional Tercom with regard to overcoming velocity error and yaw angle error.

Abstract: he Pulse power source (PPS) control system works in the environment of strong electromagnetic interference, to ensure the system's stability and reliability in the conditions of the multiple PPS modules' working synchronously in timing sequence the CAN bus driver design and optical communication interface design are adopted. The overall design of the PPS control system is proposed after analyzing the principle of PPS. The circuit of data collection of high voltage and high current is designed. The actual experiment proved that this system has high resistance to strong electromagnetic interference and it can work stably and reliably.
