Abstract: For the use of Fuel Cells in transportation, one of the key points is to reduce Pt loading in Pt/C catalytic electrode. In the study, PtCuLaOx heterogeneous membrane manufactured on the surface of carbonaceous substrates by Ion Beam Sputtering technology, and also was treated by different concentration H2SO4 solution. Moreover, phase composition, Valence state and Pt loading of these electrodes was analyzed, respectively. It was found that content of doping La in catalytic membrane could increase rich-oxygen ability, and PtCuLaOx with Pt loading less than 0.041mg/cm2 (the electrode area), in which its having complicated valence state, indicated that Pt had mutual effect with Cu, La and O, respectively. In addition, through H2SO4 solution treatment and along with increased H2SO4 concentration, the orientation growing of Pt(111) would be promoted, and Pt-Pt interval on surface of PtCuLaOx would reduce owing to Cu was dissolved from (Pt), and average grain size of PtCuLaOx decreased and crystal face spacing steady. Our study indicated that membrane electrodes through Acid treatment could be used in Fuel Cells and made Fuel Cells have low Pt loading and high catalytic activities, simultaneously.

Abstract: Using finite element method, the residual stress distribution of the TIG dressed welded toe followed by spray treatment with different cooling intensity was calculated. And the residual stresses of welded toe were also measured by using the blind-hole method. The results indicate that with the increase of cooling intensity, the longitudinal residual stresses in welded toe are gradually transited from tensile residual stresses to compressive ones, and there is no significant change for transverse residual stresses, and the depth of compressive stress layer increases at the welded toe region.

Abstract: In this paper, a layered media was used as substrate in a infiltration treatment system for municipal wastewater treatment. The efficiency of this system on nitrogen removal was compared with that by traditional used gravel and the surface characteristics of the layered media were analyzed using SEM. The results show that the layered media used as substrate in infiltration treatment system for wastewater treatment is more efficient on nitrogen removal than gravel. In the system, artificial soil provides storage for contaminants and bio-ceramics support the living organisms. The alternative running of reactor with 12 hours’ feeding followed by 12 hours’ break may supply changing environments between oxidative and anoxic in the system which is important for nitrogen removal.

Abstract: In this paper we report a method for reduce the birefingence of polymer optical fiber by using high pressure carbon dioxide fluids. Polymer optical fiber, in the manufacturing and forming process, it is effected by the external drawing and cooling so that the optical fiber presents exhibit birefringence. The experimental result shows that after the treatments of carbon dioxide fluids, the birefringence of optical fiber drop from 2-2.1×10- 4 to 4.1-4.6×10- 5 .

Abstract: In this paper the important meaning of the system simulation in improving enterprise especially for discrete manufacturing is understood. Method of the design of processing workshop facility layout and specific implementation steps can be proposed by further in-depth study of the SSLP. I use eM-plant simulation optimization software for analysis to reduce he workshop production organization management and operating costs effectively. And it could use the analysis method of Bottleneck Analyzer to make statistical analysis. The paper puts forward effective feasible method in planning to layout of stone processing workshop for facilities, and making the logistics park to efficient, low cost operation [1, 2].

Abstract: With a piston ring reciprocating liner test rig, the tribological behavior at top dead center of diesel engine was evaluated between hydrorefined mineral oil (HMO) and two kinds of cylinder liner/piston ring, chromium-plated+honing/physical vapor deposition (CP/PVD) and boron-phosphrous alloy cast iron+honing/physical vapor deposition (CI/PVD). Friction coefficient vs. temperature at different loads was used to discriminate the principal function of tribofilm. The analysis shows that the interface between CP/PVD and HMO was subject to thin film lubrication with stearic acid at 70-150°C. When the temperature exceeds 150°C, zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate (ZDDP) began to change the friction status of interface. However, the steady boundary lubrication of CI/PVD exists from 50—250°C at different loads and can not distinguish the scope of additives effects. The reason can be attributed to the chemical reactivity of chromium and iron with the HMO. The soluble Fe2+ or Fe3+ of CI/PVD maybe played an important role in the tribofilm activation level. The understanding provides friction pairs selection at definite lubrication oil and a design guideline for boundary films.

Abstract: Blow forming process of plastic sheets is simple and easy to realize, thus, it is widely used for plastic thin-wall parts. In the practical production, an effective method is needed for the preliminary set-up of process parameters in order to achieve accurate control of thickness distribution. Thus, a finite element method (FEM) code is used to simulate blow forming process. For better description of complex material theological characteristics, a physically based viscoelastic model (VUMAT forms Buckley model) to model the complex constitutive behavior is used. Nonlinear FE analyses using ABAQUS were carried out to simulate the blow forming process of plastic cups. The actual values at different locations show a satisfactory agreement with the simulation results: as a matter of fact the error along the cell mid-section did not exceed 0.02 mm on average, corresponding to 5% of the initial thickness, thus the FE model this paper can meet the requirements of the engineering practice.

Abstract: Cracking of the cover concrete due to steel corrosion is considered as one of the major issues of durability of reinforced concrete (RC) structures. Numerous models have been developed to predict the time from corrosion initiation to cracking of the cover concrete. However, little work has been done on the effects of stirrup on reinforcement corrosion-induced cover cracking. In this paper, the effects of stirrup on reinforcement corrosion-induced cover cracking are investigated. The results of four short columns (section size 100×100 mm, total length 515 mm) subjected to accelerated corrosion clearly show that stirrups not only can effectively postpone and prevent the longitudinal crack initiation but also can restrict the width of cracks caused by corrosion of reinforcement. Therefore, prediction models should account for the effects of stirrup on reinforcement corrosion-induced cover cracking, and even the effects of load on it.

Abstract: In order to improve greatly power capacity of cantilever beam piezoelectric generator, output voltage, electric charge and energy of unimorph, bimorph series connection and parallel connection is analyzed by theory models. It can be seen from analytic results that the larger output voltage and electric energy would be obtained if length is increased and width is decreased under the exterior stimulation circumstances. At the same time, bimorph series connection piezoelectric beam should be chosen preferentially.
