Abstract:

This paper describes the 3D model’s setup of diamond manufacturing center with fifteen shafts. It firstly introduces the concept of virtual design and virtual prototype, and common steps for building virtual prototype based on solidworks. Then it introduces the detailed steps of the diamond manufacturing center with fifteen shafts’ 3D model setup which includes parts and assembly. The paper also introduces the analysis of the diamond machine’s movement process. Finally, it gives the conclusion and further research. The research adopts the bottom to top principle and the top to bottom principle.
