Abstract: This Sustainable design nowadays is the very popular designing principle in architecture, Varies of methods for saving energy has been developed that gives the possibility to be brought out in the real projects. This essay outlets all kinds of design methods and technologies. Besides, only suitable methods and technologies are chosen and applied to the primordial design of the resort hotel for seniors. Enough outdoor space takes part in the building for senior’s entertainment, communication, sports and so on. All service facilities are about seniors. A healthcare make senior’s life more enjoyable. In conclusion, this resort all serves seniors. Resort is a new supporting seniors model. My resort has done some exploration for the feature and development of this model.

Abstract: A good building needs the perfect functions and construction techniques besides beautiful exterior view. The facade opening is the main means for building daylighting and ventilation. The quantity, size and configuration of facade openings can change the figure of buildings. Facade opening must be designed with architectural designing simultaneously. This way is beneficial for the unification of building function and aesthetics.

Abstract: The cula house, a type of fortified boyar dwelling prevalent in the XVIIIth century in south-western regions of Romania, is one of the most intriguing typologies in traditional Romanian architecture. Halfway between fortified tower and dwelling, with a relatively brief history and disputed architectural lineage, the cula house makes for an interesting case study because it represents the capacity of traditional Romanian architecture to assimilate foreign influences while remaining autochthonous. The paper outlines the history, characteristics and uniqueness of this architectural program, less known beyond the borders of Romania.

Abstract: The paper systematically summarizes the research achievements of Sichuan Hakka folk houses and puts forward a further research direction. These findings have shown that there are a large number of Sichuan Hakka folk houses in the two Hakka districts in Dongshan of western Sichuan and Longchang of southern Sichuan which have been investigated, surveyed and mapped, etc. From the perspective of architecture to obtain a great deal of first-hand data; moreover, in order to analyze the cultural values of the Sichuan Hakka folk houses, these researches have explored the relationship of the natural environment, climate, production, lifestyle and Hakka folk houses’ architectural image, structure, space, style as well as features between these two districts from the view of anthropogeography and cultural geography; accordingly, the scope of the study on Sichuan Hakka folk houses need to be further expanded in terms of the aspects of local economy, culture, customs, and cultural exchanges between Hakka and the surrounding areas etc.; it’s necessary to reflect on the protection and reuse from the aspects of Sichuan Hakka folk houses’ regional environment, the spirit of place, as well as original intangible cultural assets.

Abstract: This research focuses on the Preliminary Study of building pathological information system (BPIS) for Wall Painting of heritage architecture. The former field investigation gathers extensive and detailed the pathological characteristics of building fresco. The analysis of the fresco disease helps to establish the framework of deterioration factors for the layer system of BPIS. On account of the similarity of general GIS, the BPIS takes advantage of CAD, Arcmap, ArcCatalog to build a visual system on this study. In the fresco conservation project of Liang-yi temple at Wudang Mountain, this system managed the information of fresco deterioration and provides the suitable conservation strategies of repair engineering for reference.

Abstract: Based on the study of the residential status in the Three Gorges, the architectural features in the Three Gorges are summed up and its values are explored. The study suggests that the architectural art of residences in the Three Gorges should be protected and inherited to provide references to the conservation of the traditional residences in the Three Gorges region and to offer basis for the new architectural designs in the Three Gorges region.

Abstract: The article begins by inspecting the absence of architectural characteristics under the background of globalization. The brief situation of Chinese traditional architecture research and regional architectural creation are organized. Points are made about the significance of research in the construction of urban and rural living environment. It is also important that the local building wisdom and culture be explored and the precious heritage of vernacular architectural culture be passed on. The simple building idea and ecological view should also be succeeded. And that is the route we must take to undertake contemporary regional architectural creation.
