Abstract: Firstly, the disadvantage of the traditional "hard clustering" was analyzed; and the basic principles and algorithm steps of the fuzzy clustering was presented, it can express and process the class of objects which is not clearly in nature. Secondly, the theory and cluster analysis method is introduced to design high-rise structure; based on the fuzzy K-Means clustering analysis, the case retrieval method of the high-level structural intelligent design was established. Lastly, the example of engineering application was given in where the 26 projects data was used as the basis for the cluster and instance retrieval; the former 20 data is used to cluster and the last 4 data used to instance retrieval, the clustering member is k=4. Practice shows that the fuzzy k-means cluster analysis method is effective for the intelligent design of high-rise structure to obtain an instance, and opens up new ways and means for the high-rise building intelligent design.

Abstract: In order to improve the quality of space design, this paper put forward the method that use the sunshine to shaping the artistic conception space and visual focus through combined the sunshine and spatial organization. Analysis the influence on shaping artistic conception space of the sunshine to the outdoor buildings, monomer building and indoor space, it can reproduce the place spirit, shaping the artistic conception space through controlling of the light.

Abstract: This paper presents the concepts used for the structural analysis and design of Dalian International Conference Center. The unique building consists of various conference and function rooms. A steel deck of 25,000 m2 is supported by 14 transportation tubes and surrounded by 7 cantilevered conference and function rooms, an isolated opera house with 1800 seats is at the center. Some typical joints are also introduced in the paper.

Abstract: Due to the continuous upgrading technology of high-rise buildings, function expansion of high-rise buildings has unlimited possibilities, in the specific performance of function system’s optimization and function model’s integration. Function expansion make high-rise buildings’ image become various with a variety of features, internal use space become more efficient, convenient, thus for mankind to create a more comfortable space.

Abstract: Proposing design principles to improve the external environment of high-rise buildings, including the principle of integrity, the principle of symbiosis, the principle of balance, the principle of environmental enhancement and the principle of economic. Specifically, a series of measures proposed to achieve good urban space of the high-rise buildings.

Abstract: ”Industrial elements” is a kind of special symbol related to the manufacturing production within industrial buildings. This paper will pick up the “industrial elements” as the starting point to analyze the application of it in the transformation and reuse for the old industrial buildings, thus to analyze fatherly the value and significance of the “industrial elements” in the old industrial building transformation and reuse. Based on the activities of plant mapping, shooting on site, field visit and referring to the factory history to Changchun tractor plant and shaft plant (hereinafter referred to as long drag and shaft plant), obtained amount of valuable data, and put forward targeted transformation proposal with practical significance and the trend of reuse, introduced the design methodology in detail regarding the "industrial elements" in the transformation and reuse of old buildings for long drag and shaft plant, then come up with the creative rebuilding solution.

Abstract: Nowadays, in modern cities, the underground station is becoming one of the most important public spaces. With the fast rhythm of modern people’s life, the previous small station is unable to satisfy their demands not only in any functional aspect but also in appearance. Therefore, to create a modern underground station is particularly important for satisfying the functional requirement and for protecting the traditional art and culture. This essay will talk about the interior design for modern underground stations in Europe countries.

Abstract: There are a long winter and a short outdoor construction period in Xinjiang, being an earthquake-prone area. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for the development of steel structure residential buildings. This article explains the current problems in the design of steel structure residential buildings in Xinjiang region. For example, the backward concept of design, the random design of kitchen and bathroom, which leads to too many specifications, being not conducive to industrial production and large amount of steel using , etc. The optimal design ideas were put forward, which included architectural specialty to be dominant, standardized and conventionalized design, serialized, modular and flexible layout. Finally, an example of optimal design was given.

Abstract: Variant design is the main form of most manufacturing enterprises. In this paper, an extensible modular method is proposed to enable better and faster design. The structure module is set size inner-related, and then when the user requirements change, the key structural variables can be adjusted followed by the alterations of the driven sizes, also these alterations can be verified by the engineering analysis. Therefore, the product variant design process can be preceded effectively with the extensible modules.
