Abstract: Aesthetic taste as the main value of life is the central task of building arts. Artistic characteristics of architecture reflect human glory and always exist in our thousands of years of architectural history. The art pursuit of architecture is still the focus for the public especially architects. Therefore, the central concept of the construction philosophy is the art of architecture.

Abstract: City image symbol as a city development of soft power, its symbolic connotations become the core information of city transmission, which is the city's cultural precipitation accumulation in miniature..City symbol not only as a visual symbol, and the special symbol image accelerate city comprehensive development, displays a full cultural connotation. This article from the Shaolin Temple culture and influence in the world, talking about the Shaolin Temple to the ancient city of Zhengzhou the influence of image symbols. The" Central Plains " Zhengzhou brand image, in the legendary" The first ancient temples" light, while adding commercial breath making the Shang cultural icons of Zhengzhou spread and establish brand effect.

Abstract: China's modern architecture modeling carries the subtleties of the ancient architectural art, it combines the architectural art of the west developed. However, in general, it is also a bit behind compared with developed countries. There are still many problems in art design and Material performance of buildings. This paper, from the Chinese modern architecture art foundation started talking about, Analysis of the materials performance and building aesthetic, Elaborated on China's modern architectural art in the combination of Chinese and Western problems, as well as in their own institutional occurred problems.

Abstract: The skin, as an expressive method of the architecture, has become the main object of aesthetic study of the contemporary architecture. This paper makes an aesthetic interpretation of the visualized architecture skin, ecological skin and non-materialistic skin respectively.

Abstract: In activities of art and design, material not only serves as a substantial body, but also implies emotional semantic correspond with human mind. Emotional semantic which extracted from material’s physical, chemical and emotion properties is originated from material’s innate senses. Emotional semantic is also expanded by manual senses and affected by such factors as culture in an age and aesthetic mentality. Close concern on the studies of emotional semantic of material will offer new thoughts and methods for art and design.

Abstract: In order to minimize the final differential settlement and improve the mechanics performance of high-rise buildings and its podium, some pile design concept for the tower-podium connected building is discussed in this paper. According to the interaction of superstructure-foundation-pile, the pile rigidity of tower area (the core area) is enhanced, and that of outer podium area is weakened in the optimal pile design. This measure is applied in some projects with good technical result and economical effects.

Abstract: The structural comfort of long-span floor structure which setup stadium is studied in this paper. The measured spectrum is used to simulate human movement loads. All possible loads are considered and key parameters about structural comfort of the long-span floor structure are analyzed, and then, the comfort of athletes in match and audiences on the stadium stand are analyzed. The results show the vertical acceleration and natural frequency of structure are decreased approximate linearly with increasing of the slab thickness; take one engineering project for example, according to the method proposed in this paper, the different structural comfort control index should be adopted in sports field and audience stand, respectively. Comprehensive and system design references of load simulation, pre-stressed structure dynamic analysis, comfort performance index and control standards are offered in this paper for long-span pre-stressed steel floor structure project that used for stadium.

Abstract: Image rendering of shadow faces a problem existed for a long time, that is the contradiction of quality and performance. Variant algorithms are presented to ameliorate this problem, shadow map is the one which is representative for that. Even though shadow maps have been widely used for the shadow of Three-dimensional scene, some imperfection still exist in this method like aliasing problem. So,the focus of the paper is introduce an algorithm which layering the data sets of the large scale building's shadow rapidly and intelligently based shadow map. First, we ascertain the fragment which create the shadow by shadow mapping's two scan. Second, we process the float data in the depth buffer by using uniformization and render the two depth data in the texture. Then use Gauss Filter to blur. Finally, use the algorithm of BIRCH cluster the uniformization data to improve the obscure and tweened effect. This method brings reduction of aliasing problem with low overhead as well as performance to a certain extent .

Abstract: A major barrier to successful construction project delivery has been the fragmentation and poor relationships existing between players in the construction industry. This significant issue has exerted a negative influence on project objectives, especially those which are predetermined, such as time, specified budget and standard quality. Construction projects require intensive efforts and processes, which it is often a challenge to provide to parties within the construction industry, to access accurate information and efficient communications. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the construction collaboration tools along with concepts of context-aware computing and cloud computing. The findings in this research are based on a thorough review of the comprehensive literature on IT, computing and construction. Consequently, this study sets out to introduce and develop the concepts of potential innovative collaborative tools, such as Context-Aware Cloud Computing Information Systems (CACCIS), for facilitating the construction supply chain processes and networks by enhancing the opportunities for achieving better competitive advantages. Firstly, it is hoped that this study will lead to improved construction collaboration to enhance the competitive advantages and opportunities for the internationalisation and globalisation of the construction industry. Secondly, it presents an effective method to provide new insights into the process of integration and, most significantly, to improve the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of the construction industry.

Abstract: In the conventional structure’s calculation and design, the rigid foundation assumption was often used in calculation of the dynamic properties and dynamic responses, while the actual situation is often very different. In this article, a steel frame model on the scale of 1/4 on the soil bin (no cover) indoor was excited to achieve the responses of structures with different stiffness. The responses were compared between the actual structure and the rigid foundation soil assumption structure simulated in the SAP2000 software. The results show that the stiffness of the upper structure has great effect on the acceleration, displacement and natural period of the structure when considering SSI.
