Abstract: Flow process construction is the basic theoretical course and key knowledge of construction organization, and also is not easily understood by students in teaching. When n activities and m construction sections in differ-step flow process construction is chosen, if among randomly three continuous steps, the middle step is the minimum step, then the non-interval project flow duration (T’) is less than the non-idleness project flow duration (T) , and the time variation can be calculated, the deviation of the non-interval project flow duration (T’) with the non-idleness project flow duration (T) is the sum of the product of any many (m-1)×(the maximum flow step from another side minus the minimum flow steps among three continuous flow steps), otherwise, T’=T.

Abstract: Government strictly regulates real estate industry by a series of policy recently. Because of the great change of polices, the real estate industry was taken a big knock. In order to find out the solution of real estate enterprises keep developing under new situation. By analyzing the external environment factors of real estate enterprises, the study deduces that the change of real estate enterprises’ strategy plane is inevitable. Elaborate the current situation of real estate enterprises from five aspects of strategy plane, and make a conclusion that how to change it. Therefore, ensure that real estate enterprises could avoid policies risk, and keep developing.

Abstract: Shanghai districts’ construction industry competitiveness is evaluated and ranked, based on factor analysis, cluster analysis, neural network and the construction industry statistics of Shanghai statistics yearbook in 2007-2011. The evaluation shows that, there is imbalance in the 18 Shanghai districts’ industry scale and output efficiency competitiveness. And the industry in Pudong New Area is far more competitive than the rest of the various districts and counties, which just fits Chinese macroeconomic policies. New countermeasures and suggestions would be established in terms of the characteristics of each district which had been found.

Abstract: This paper looks at current BIM adoption overseas vis-à-vis the Malaysian BIM scenario. Issues in BIM usage to be addressed by the industry are discussed. The benefits of adopting BIM for Quantity Surveyors (QS) are numerous and the strategies to pave the way for its adoption are made known. The broad frameworks for reviewing the foreign BIM codes and standards; assessment of priority research areas and their impact; re-engineering systems and processes in the project chain for BIM are explained. The caveats for implementation are visited to provide a balanced view of IT initiatives. New roles for the QS as cost modellers or value modellers from project inception are envisaged.

Abstract: This study applies numerical simulation for emergency evacuation in architectural engineering. The study considered a series of models for simulating emergency evacuation in architectural engineering. The results showed that the time of emergency evacuation relates to maximum velocity and crowd density through horizontal open space, and relates to vertical gradient under vertical evacuation. It was concluded that the risk of emergency response for architectural engineering connected with evacuating capability of builders and circumstance of building site.

Abstract: Abstract. The relationship between precedence and successor activities is the only factor that determined the project scheduling in the traditional project scheduling management. The critical chain-an elegant solution, on the other hand, takes resource limitations into account and is composed of sections that are dependent on successor relationships and other sections that are dependent on resource constraint. By integrating the existing research findings, it is the objective of this paper to highlight the merits and pitfalls of the CCPM scheduling method, such as the principle for project delays, the critical chain identification; the time buffer setting and project scheduling with limited capacity of a resource. Furthermore, it also presidents the difficulties when implementing the critical chain approach and conclude with a description of our ongoing research direction.

Abstract: Teaching and learning process was often faced with abstract subjects and it is out of the daily experience such as the process of biofuel production or renewable energy on industrial biotechnology field, which is one of subject unit in Biology. Therefore, this subject was difficult to be taught by teacher and difficult to be understood by student. In this research, biology especially renewable energy (the process of biofuel production) one of industrial biotechnology field was chosen because of many factors such as the production of biofuel needs long time, the process to produce biofuel is very complex and industrial biotechnology subject was difficult to be taught by teachers in the classroom. So they need the aids to explain biofuel in the classroom. The teachers’ ability and competency are necessary to teach the Biology course to be more attractive and efficient. Visualization is one of the ways that can be done to concretize an abstract idea. e-Audio Visual Biology courseware (e-AV BIOLOGY) is one of the alternative aids to explain this course, so biology learning will be more interesting for the students. This paper considers the design and development of a web-based courseware for education of biology in Indonesia Senior High Schools. The new teaching media, namely e-AV BIOLOGY, had been developed as a teaching approach in science education. e-AV BIOLOGY had been developed with integrated and comprehensive Assignment, Quizzes, and Discussion Board for supporting the students' learning process. This research had examined the impact of e-Audio Visual Biology towards students’ attitude, students’ interest and learning outcomes in Indonesia Senior High Schools. The later part of this paper presents the evaluation data from a main research conducted with students at Senior High Schools in Semarang, Indonesia. The findings from the main research are also discussed.

Abstract: Inventory control is a necessary strategy that enterprises use to offset the effect of uncertainties in manufacturing, supply and demand. Normally, probability distribution is used to analyze the uncertainty problems, however, this analysis can’t be completed with inadequate data, resulting in an increase in inventory costs. The paper establishes inventory cost models of single supply chain member under uncertainty demands and applies Simulated Annealing Algorithm to imitate the models in 52 weeks to seek for the optimal speaking for amount and anew speaking for point so that compares the difference of supply chain total inventory cost and the sufficing rate of order for goods between independently and collaborated controlling strategy in supply chain, and in order to provide the necessary theoretical supports for the enterprises to establish supply chain partnerships and possibly improve the supply chain capability of providing external integration.

Abstract: This study from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, the English ditransitive construction structural polysemy in conjunction the antisense strand of the comparative study of the constructions, reasoning semantic motivation. After the construction grammar and cognitive semantic analysis of center, semantic and extending semantic construal, pointed out in the English ditransitive construction system implementation and the first object semantic constraints. Not only the construal of English ditransitive construction implementation of the voluntary, but found the English ditransitive construction of non voluntary, so many in the ditransitive construction system is considered to be abnormal expressions to construal, formed the English ditransitive construction rational cognitive model.
