Abstract: Eco-industrial Park has become an important form to carry out the concept of circular economy and to establish ecological civilization. Summarizing the experiences and lessons in the process of National Eco-industrial Demonstration Parks' construction has an important practical significance for guiding the construction and healthy development of eco-industrial parks in China. After collecting and studying the cases of National Eco-Industrial Demonstration Park, we summarized the successful experiences and explore the problems in the process of construction. Some advice has been given to perfect the industrial chain, to establish a system of information management and to enhance technological innovation of companies, which would be useful in promoting the healthy development of eco-industrial parks in China.

Abstract: It is important to evaluate the factor affecting the tensile forces creating in geosynthetic components in waste landfill liner such as waste weight and working vehicle for designing anchor trench at side slope crest. In this research, FEM analyses were performed for the field tests with 5m height waste landfill model for evaluating the tensile forces creating in geosynthetic components of liner. In the FEM analyses, the stress-strain relationship of geotextile and geomembrance was modeled by linear elastic and the stress-strain relationship of filling soil and friction stress-relative displacement relationship of joint element was modeled by hyperbola. By the calculations, the scale of tensile forces creating in geosynthetic components was evaluated. The effects of load and placement of working vehicle on the tensile forces were investigated.

Abstract: In this study the sewage sludge are treated by microwave assisted pyrolysis (MAP) with different microwave receptors, and then, the immobilization of heavy metals in the residues are evaluated through the toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) and sequential extraction procedure. The volatilization of Cd, Pb and Zn could be decreased by MAPs more efficiently than the conventional pyrolysis (CP). The average leaching percentages of Cu, Zn and Pb in residues produced by MAPs are decreased 90%, 88% and 81% more than the CP process respectively, and no leaching Cd is detected. Moreover, more than 67% of Cu, Pb, Zn and 55% of Cd in residues of MAP speciated into stable phase, which is higher than the metals in the residues of CP. The effect of heavy metals stabilized in residues of MAP was determined in the order as Cd > Cu > Pb > Zn. The results suggest the immobilization of heavy metals in the residues are enhanced in the process of MAP. This novel approach should be of significance in immobilizing heavy metals in residues of sewage sludge.

Abstract: An optimal condition of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) for genistein in extruded soybean was developed. Optimal conditions through quadratic orthogonal rotation design were verified. The results from SC – CO2 showed that all five experiment factors tested have significant effects on the yield of genistein. The mathematical model set had close agreements with experimental values. It was found that there were 32 optimal extract conditions under which genistein yield higher than 0.092% were gotten through simulate compute. The optimal extracting conditions were stable and recurrable. SC–CO2 had a potential in the extraction of genistein from extruded soybean products.

Abstract: The composting of sewage sludge and maize straw was investigated in forced-aeration composting systems at aeration rates of 0.28, 0.56 and 0.83 l min-1 kg-1 organic matter, corresponding to pile A, pile B and pile C. The composting temperature in three piles met the hygienic safety criterion, and final electrical conductivity did not exceed the limit value of 3000 μS cm-1. The final NH4+-N content in pile C exceeded the limit value of 400 mg kg-1. The final NO3--N content, cation exchange capacity and germination index in pile B were superior to those in pile A and pile C.

Abstract: Water is a vital natural resource, which is becoming increasingly scarce around the world. The balance between water availability and demand has reached critical levels in many regions due to water demand increasing, and availability diminishing through drought and over-extraction. Water resources have been very important to us human beings since our ancient society. And the use of water in irrigation is a momentous part. Effective and productive irrigation requires the most appropriate water application strategies that take soil, climate, and farming operations into account. In addition to this, inputs used must be applied to where it is required without giving any harmful effects to the environment. In this study, we took a comprehensive consideration of the related records, summarized the methods of water-saving technology in the world for need.

Abstract: This paper gives an analysis of CH4 output of Yantai domestic garbage municipal treatment plant through field static test and dynamic suction test. The former test measures the methane density of the domestic garbage in the landfill area which shows that the area is in the prime time of gas production, while the dynamic test results provide technical parameters for the engineering of the collection and usage of CH4 gas.

Abstract: On the basis of the study of green surfactant alkyl polyglucoside that was synthesized from starch or glucose and fatty alcohol by direct method, the reaction mechanism was discussed and the macroscopic reaction kinetics model was proposed and established. The kinetics model between the concentration of glucose(CA) and reaction time (t) was as follows: ln(CA—0.00025) = —(Kt+2.08). The method of establishing kinetics model can be popularized to the kinetic study of other alkyl polyglucoside.

Abstract: With the rapid development of economy in China, there has been a growth in motor vehicles, deteriorating the traffic pollution of roads year by year. The gas pollution, which mainly comes from complete and incomplete combustion of the fuel, includes CO, SO2, NOx, CO2, and VOC. Al, Ca, Fe and Mg and other non-enriched elements in the atmospheric particle originates from the road dust carried by the motor vehicle at the traffic junctions; the noise pollution emerges from the engine and tire friction. The primary methods applied worldwide covers MOBILE, OSPM and MVMS. For the noise pollution, FHWA and RLS90 are used. The roadside landscaping can absorb emissions, accumulate the heavy metal and reduce the dust and noise, which is an effective way to beautify the environment and prevent the pollution.
