Abstract: Flow path on the highway is longer, driving exits the more dangerous. Based on the mechanical theory, the calculation models of the flow path length in different sections were built by FDM and multiple linear regression method. The flow path length of different section and different longitudinal slope was studied. The results show that: in addition to straight line and circle curve, when the number of lane is more than 4 and longitudinal slope is greater than 4%, the flow path length at other sections almost exceeded the prescribed value. Made the flow path length as control index, the amendment value on the maximum longitudinal slope of highway is proposed.

Abstract: On the hypothesis of that the compacted soil was isotropic body and water movement complied with porous model of Green-Ampt, the permeability models in subgrade behind the bridge abutment with crack that is full of water were put forward by Darcy laws. In order to test the reasonableness of theoretical analysis, the flow mode test was conducted in the lab. The test results show that there is a linear relationship between horizontal length of wetting front on top of subgrade with the square root of time, in the sections at the bottom of crack, it is two time function relationship between vertical distance with horizontal length of wetting front. The test results are consistent with theoretical analysis.

Abstract: Health monitoring is an important means for researching dynamic changing rules of deformation stability of subgrade along reservoir bank in mountainous area. The key parameters are chosen considering that highway subgrade is linear engineering, and monitoring points distribute widely and dispersively. A remote health monitoring system is set up based on GPRS technique which provides long distance wireless transmission of health monitoring data for mountainous highway subgrade along reservoir bank. So as to analyze health of subgrade along reservoir bank and discover potential disease timely which provide scientific basis for construction decision, safety operation and subgrade disease prevention and control.

Abstract: In order to study influence of unloading of vacuum on stability of embankment whose soft ground is improved by vacuum combined with preloading, the change of effective stress of soft clay in the improved area is analyzed when vacuum is unloaded and the undrained shear strength of soft clay in the improved area after unloading of vacuum is deduced. Changes of undrained shear strength of soil and stability of embankment owing to unloading of surcharge are also analyzed for comparison. It is shown by theoretical analysis, laboratory tests and a project that the undrained shear strength of soft clay improved by vacuum combined preloading is decreased after unloading of vacuum and the stability of embankment after unloading of vacuum should be taken into account for design. Safety factor of stability of embankment increases after unloading of surcharge since decrease ratio of load of embankment is more than decrease ratio of undrained shear strength of clay.

Abstract: Aiming at different kinds of transverse joints of common concrete pavements, this paper puts forward oblique-reinforced transverse prestressed continuous concrete pavement, and compares it with other reinforcement types of continuous pavements in their mechanical and deformation behaviors under the influence of temperature drop. Analysis results show that oblique-reinforced transverse prestressed concrete pavement could take advantage of deformation transfer competence of oblique steels, and while applying prestressing force on slab along transverse direction, longitudinal prestressing force appears which would effectively counteract temperature shrinkage stress along driving direction. Thus this paper provides corresponding theoretical support for the feasibility study on jointless concrete pavement.

Abstract: To test and inspect the chemical compositions and mechanical properties of the steel slag produced by the converters of Jigang Group co. ltd, and study the feasibility of using the steel slag as base course material. Prepare cement stabilized steel slag specimens with different contents of cement mixed for the unconfined compressive strength test. Determine through test its strength after 7 days and 28 days and its water stability after 7 days’ soaking. Prepare in the same method of two different kinds of cement and coal ash stabilized specimens with different contents of coal ash mixed for the unconfined compressive strength test, to test its strength and water stability. The comparison on mechanical property with cement stabilized macadam indicates that the cement stabilized steel slag and cement with coal ash stabilized steel slag both have favorable mechanical property and water stability and the steel slag produced by the converters of Jigang Group co. ltd can be popularized for use as base course material.

Abstract: Analyzing the insufficiency of research on the Level of Service(LOS) of the urban expressway interchanges in China, Building an evaluation index system of Level of Service (LOS) based on field data, which takes relative delay as quantitative index based on the hypostasis of LOS, it is the ration between the difference of actual time and free time and the free time, setting up the theoretic calculating models of the free driving time and the actual driving time on urban expressway cloverleaf interchanges, then the relative delay can be calculated.

Abstract: According to the theoretic analysis, a new free velocity model was derived and presented under snow. This model took into account the friction and centrifugal force and the force of inertia on a traveling vehicle, and building an equality based on the moment balance, then analyzing the extent of parameters in this equality, after that calculating the extent of the free flow velocity, then the free flow time model was built. According to the field data, testing the speed model, the testing results show the speed model is feasible. Then calibrating the VISSIM simulation model, and calculating the value of BPR parameters based on the simulation results, at last, an improved BPR impedance model of highway under snow is built.

Abstract: This paper introduces the basic properties of the explosive dangerous goods and the matters needing attention during the transport process. It also designs the monitoring system for transport process based on the technology of the Internet of things, including the route choice subsystem, the set out audit subsystem and the en-route item state supervision subsystem. Finally it analyzes the function and the operation process of the transportation monitoring system and the application of RFID in the system.
