Abstract: The high-speed railway framework can promote the harmonious development in the unbalanced regions. Based on construction experiences and spatial development of high-speed railway, the spatial effects were analyzed in traffic economic belt, regional balance, spatial organization reconfiguration and urban environment improvement. According to the high-speed rail plan of China, the traffic accessibility of spatial organization in Poyang lake economic zone were discussed in internal traffic accessibility and external traffic accessibility. The study results showed that the hub-and-spoke patterns of the spatial traffic organization reconfiguration in Poyang Lake agglomeration can realize the regional balance oriented by the high-speed railway. The patterns can be also applied to other underdeveloped and unbalanced regions.

Abstract: Based on the NaSch model, an extended cellular automaton model is proposed to simulate traffic flow by considering the effects of visibility. Under the open boundary condition, the influences of the injection probability, disappearance probability and visibility are discussed. The simulation results show that the injection probability and disappearance probability within a certain range have an important effect on the flux, density and velocity. And traffic jams often occur in poor visibility areas, which can become a road bottleneck. Furthermore, in order to effectively decrease the occurrence of traffic jams, the injection probability and disappearance probability should be set up reasonably.

Abstract: Toll station is the bottleneck of the highway. The simulation method is effective to analyze the traffic characteristics of highway toll station. The microscopic simulation model and the structure of toll station are built. The vehicle generation model, car-following model based on minimum safety distance, and the vehicle driving track selection model are analyzed. The simulation system is developed using VC++. The experiments with a dynamic adjustment method are studied using the simulation system, and the service level and vehicle passage rate are analyzed. The results show that the simulation system is suited to the real traffic characteristics and is an effective tool for highway toll station traffic analysis.

Abstract: In this paper, we research the problem of transportation routing for fresh food. We analyzed the limit of soft and hard time windows in transportation and formed the time window with fuzzy appointment based on customer satisfaction. The optimization of transportation routes mathematical model was structured. The improved genetic algorithm has been applied to matlab progam. This progam has found the optimal solution in the model. We used a case to prove the feasibility of the model and the algorithm. It has twelve customers and one DC need to transport services. The mathematical model is to simulate the transport of fresh food within realistic. The transportation routing is designed to improve customer satisfaction and reduce transportation costs.

Abstract: This paper presents the operation practices of Urban Rail Transit during the Word Expo 2010 period in Shanghai. The overall traffic strategy of the Expo and the role of urban rail transit system are first introduced. The focal points of this paper are operation schemes during the Expo, such as train arrangement, passenger flow organization, emergency response, and the coordination with other transport modes. The paper concludes that the Expo travel demand can be met well without sacrificing local urban daily traffic. To have a good linkage with other transport modes as well as the Expo, urban rail transit should play its role in the framework of overall traffic strategy. And in today’s international events, guidance measures including various media are more and more important in the transportation demand management. Practices in Shanghai also show that management of transit stations and information sharing among different public transport systems should be improved.

Abstract: The paper is focused on the Multi-cargo Loading Problem (MCLP). Tabu search algorithm is an algorithm based on neighborhood search. According to the features of the problem, the essay centered the construct initial solution to construct neighborhood structure. For the operation, 1-move and 2-opt were applied, it can also fasten the speed of convergence, and boost the search efficiency. Finally, the good performance of this algorithm can be proved by experiment calculation and concrete examples.

Abstract: Countries of the developing world are characterized by rapid urbanization, high growth rates in traffic and congestion and decreasing regulation of public transport. Because the majority of the developing world's inhabitants are dependent on public transport services for their mobility needs, the need for safe, effective and efficient public transport is essential to ensure adequate, affordable, accessibility and the continuing sustainable development of livelihoods in the rural and urban. Finally, recommendations are made to reduce both the severity and number of public transport accidents in the future. This paper highlights the historical road safety and the transportation management in Dar es Salaam. In the field of road traffic control and management, the primary policy objective is to develop appropriate institutional and organizational arrangement towards further efficient road use.

Abstract: The classified management of transport of dangerous goods section, not only can reduce the possibility of transport of dangerous goods accident, but also reduce the severity of the consequences of the accident, has a more far-reaching significance to the security of the urban transport of dangerous goods. Fuzzy clustering method is applied to the classified management of transport of dangerous goods section, according to the different sections of the length, risk, as well as dangerous goods traffic, which sections of classification based on fuzzy clustering analysis method, an example of Pingxiang City of Jiangxi is given to illustrate the calculation process of the method. The category management and the corresponding management strategies is proposed suitable for transport of dangerous goods according to the classification results, and provide a viable basis for the government sector. Category management of transport of dangerous goods section, enabling the transport of dangerous goods more standardized, laid the foundation for the development of urban transport of dangerous goods industry.

Abstract: At present, traffic problem has become one of the biggest problems about the development of urban city in China. Faced with this problem, it is important for traffic planning to keep traffic be in accordance with the city. It is a challenge to urban planning, especially to the traditional method by land utilization planning. To relieve traffic congestion and other issues blocking, we can not only enhance road construction, but also make some innovation about the new thoughts and methods for the functional departments of the government. This is the key to solve the urban traffic problem for the time being.

Abstract: Abstract. Mass transit line network’s option is a fuzzy optimization problem. Its line network evaluation is multi-objective and multi-hierarchy and the evaluation subsystems are incompatible. First, considering the urban development coordination, construction implementation, rationality of urban mass transit line network structure and comprehensive effect, researches established the appraisal index system of urban mass transit network using an assistant decision-making tool of system-analysis. Second, the study established extension and fuzzy optimization model with a vague idea of fuzzy mathematics, the knowledge of extenics and TOPSIS, explored the fuzzy and incompatibility issues on urban mass transit line network evaluation. The study introduced negotiation theory into weight construction, expanded single AHP to multi-experts weighting methods and combined it with entropy theory to form a new weight construction method. Last, as a validation, Changsha urban mass transit line network were evaluated and verified the feasibility and practicality of the model and method mentioned above.
