Abstract: The deterioration of concrete durability seriously affects utilization and lifespan of concrete constructions. This paper presented a novel method to improve concrete durability by synthesizing Super-absorbent Resins (SAR) in micro-cracks or capillary-pores of concrete, i.e., the synthesized SAR swell after absorbing water, fill micro-cracks or capillary-pores and prevent water penetration into concrete. The main performance of impermeability, freeze resistance and sulfate resistance related to concrete durability were studied. The results show that the impermeability, freeze resistance and sulfate corrosion resistance of cement mortar handled by SAR are obviously better than cement mortar unhandled by SAR.

Abstract: This paper describes the results of some studies on the properties of lightweight expanded concrete mixtures made with rigid polyurethane foam waste. Experimental study on the mechanical properties of polyurethane foam waste mixed with concrete shrinkage performance and the relationship between packing density and absolute density. The results showed that: Polyurethane foam plastic waste can be used in the preparation of lightweight concrete, the strength with the state standards, and packing density and concrete absolute density with reference line between sex. Drying shrinkage comply with Selih and Bremner lightweight concrete water content to evolution.

Abstract: Based on ferro based superalloy K273 and heat resistant steel ZG40Cr24, test alloys were cast by intermediate frequency induction furnace with non-oxidation method by alloying of aluminium and silicon. The oxidation resistance at 1100°C for 500 hours of test alloys was carried out according to oxidation weight gain method. Experimental results show that the scale exfoliation resistance of K273 and ZG40Cr24 is reinforced greatly by Al2O3 and SiO2. The scale exfoliation weight gain rate at 1100°C descends from 1.2681g.m-2.h-1 to zero, reaching complete exfoliation resistance for ZG40Cr24 test alloy. Because of 1.5

Abstract: Test items include compressive strength, anti-breaking strength and split strength of standard concrete, rubber concrete and fiber-rubber concrete, and 43 groups test were conducted. In order to investigate the influence of the synergistic reaction between fiber and rubber powder on force-bearing performance of concrete used in subgrade, and different blended ratio effect on strength and extension of concrete were studied. The results indicated that with the increasing of content of 40 mesh rubber powder, the compressive strength of concrete decreasing regularly; with adding the blends of fiber and rubber powder, the anti-breaking strength and extension of concrete were promoted, as to fiber - 40 mesh rubber powder concrete, the content of rubber control less than 6%, and the fiber less than 0.5%,as to 60 mesh rubber powder -10mm fiber concrete, the content of rubber control less than 6%, and the fiber less than 0.5%; as to 60 mesh rubber powder -20mm fiber concrete, the appropriate adding quantity of rubber less than 2%, and the fiber less than 0.5%.

Abstract: In order to develop a new building material by recycling wasted concrete and expanded polystyrene (EPS), the EPS recycled concretes of different density were designed, and their basic physical and mechanical properties were studied. The results show that the EPS recycled concrete’s fluidity and saturated bibulous rate increase with the increase of EPS volume content. However, the dry apparent density, compressive strength, split tensile strength and thermal conductivity of EPS recycled concrete decrease linearly with increased EPS volume content. When the EPS volume content is 60%, the EPS recycled concrete’s cubic compressive strength is 4.0MPa and its thermal conductivity is 0.27W/m•K. Therefore, EPS recycled concrete can be widely applied to the non load-bearing lightweight insulation masonry.

Abstract: The mechanism of effect on work performance of ceramisite concrete with two kinds of mineral admixture is analyzed and also the each effect on ceramisite concrete with different dosage of fly ash and pulverized slag mixed with concrete, and when the two mixed together, the effect on work performance of ceramisite concrete with different dosage of the admixture is analyzed, it provides a better basis to ceramisite concrete mixing.

Abstract: Based on the unified strength theory presented by Maohong Yu, the calculating formula for the load-bearing capacity of concrete-filled double steel tube was derived. Through tests, the calculating load-bearing capacity results were compared with testing results, which agreed well. The change of load-bearing capacities with parameter k of the unified strength theory was discussed. It can be drawn that the load-bearing capacity of CFDST will increase with the increase of parameter b, but the increase is not obvious.

Abstract: Composite, with both sides deposited by pure aluminum (Al) thin films to improve its anti-corrosion properties, is designed and fabricated in this study through thermo-mechanical processing techniques. Manufactured composite here mainly consists of polyester textile and PET thin films. Mechanical tests are carried out to study the dynamic mechanical behaviors of the fabricated composites under various loading rates. Our works reveal that proper bonding material and appropriate processing are key and essential in order to fully make use of the excellent mechanical properties of polyester textile in the composite.

Abstract: Strengthening process tests were carried out on the CuNiBeZrSi alloy used for slot wedge in turbo-generator rotor. By EM, XRD anasys ,The results show that: in this experimental conditions, to obtain better overall performance, the heat treatment process of slot wedges copper alloy is: forging - water quenching solution-aging. CuNiBeZrSi alloy got a better overall performance after solid solution 950°C×1.5h+460°C×3h aging. And the values of hardness and electrical conductivity of the alloy are HB 259 and 56 %IACS. It can meet the requirement of slot wedge copper alloy working, with better economic benefits.
