The Countermeasures Response to Urban Traffic Congestion

Abstract:

Nowadays,with the rapid development of urbanization and the rapid growth of amount of private vehicles, the issues for urban traffic congestion are becoming prominent, aslo they will be one of the core problems and the focus of social attention that every country in the world are facing. In this paper, some problems related to traffic congestion are discussed,which restrict the cities’development. Through a brief analysis about the traffic congestion, this paper presents some new countermeasures and suggestions,meanwhile gives a overall reference how to relieve urban traffic congestion, including the different ways of constructions for transport infrastructures, and also the reasons for priority to the development of public transport .Moreover,details of measures designs suitable for relieving the traffic congestion are involved in this paper.
