Abstract: The configuration and aerodynamics performance of the inlet system are important aspects in the process of gas turbine installation on naval vessels. Under the requirements, using CFD method simulated four kinds of structure cyclone flow field of the marine gas turbine intake filters, found the lowest flow resistance structure, then verified by experiment. Through comparison, the numerical simulation results agree with experimental study well. The methods used in the article have some reference significance for the design of the inlet system.

Abstract: The paper uses the object-oriented modeling method to analysis the hydraulic AGC system and the operation mechanism about a strip mill. It discusses the Coulomb force and roll eccentricity which usually were ignored on rolling process. And improves the mathematical model that reflect the actual AGC system. By simulation, we compared it with the actual rolling process and verified the correction of the mathematical model. And, it will make the good foundation for on-the-spot practical application.

Abstract: Based on the MSDV (the minimum sum of the displacement variance), the optimal combination of the bar group on a planar eight-link mechanical press is studied in this paper. Firstly, we establish the kinematic equations of a simplified planar eight-link by dividing the planar eight-link into three modules and resolving them step by step. With the established kinematic equations, we simulate the movement of the planar eight-link and obtain its curve of displacement, velocity and acceleration. Final, we get the optimal combination of the eight-link mechanical press based on MSDV. The simulation of the optimal planar eight-link bar group indicates that the displacement curves of the four eight-links included in a eight-link mechanical press almost coincide.

Abstract: In this study, volumetric shrinkage at ejection of the chair base in the injection process, application of the 3D CAD software pro/e to design the shape of the product, and then combines moldflow simulation analysis and Taguchi method with L25 Orthogonal Array to determine the optimal injection molding parameters combination. In the Taguchi L25 experimental design, the six controlling factors used are melt temperature, mold temperature, injection time, packing time, packing pressure and cooling time, the result of experiment revealed that the optimum combination of parameters was the A2 (melting temperature 265°C), B3 (mold temperature 40°C), C2 (injection time 1.7sec), D4 (packing pressure 95%), E5 (packing time20sec), F5 (cooling time 20sec). The results show that the combination of Taguchi method and Moldflow can not only improve the molding process parameters effectively, but also optimize the quality of the products.

Abstract: This paper studied on heat and mass transfer mechanism of steam in reservoir porous media, built coupled mathematical models for heat and mass transfer in reservoir porous media. “Black box model” and “white box model” are first proposed in heat and mass process analysis of reservoir porous media. Temperature field has been simulated by CMG-STARS software. Our work will give theoretical basis and technical support for enhanced oil recovery technology.

Abstract: The main structure of bearing frame for pressure test device and it’s functions are described in this paper. For the pressure test device with float collar and float shoe, the screw transmits movement with standing pressuring load. According to the needs of actual production and the requirements of test sample pressuring, this paper designed a drive mechanism for screw rod, calculated the stress and checked the correlated stiffness. The result shows that it is reasonable, safe and reliable for screw-drive mechanism, depending on the operation behavior of float collar and float shoe pressure test device.

Abstract: In this paper, the mechanical model of the complex frequency vibrating screen with two-motor-driving is established, and its dynamic equation is deduced base on Lagrange equation. Then the simulation model is established by Simulink. Its exciter is set up by the module of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine. Through running the simulation model, the simulation result of the complex frequency vibrating system with two-motor-driving is analyzed and the influence caused by varying the structural parameters on operating characteristics of vibrating system is discussed. The result of the study has important reference value to develop the dual-motor complex-frequency vibrating machinery.

Abstract: Dry gas seal is a kind of non-contact seal in which gas dynamic and static pressure forming opening force, being with less gas leakage and longer using time. Generally speaking, the gas performance of the dry gas seal is regarded as an ideal gas when the dry gas seal is investigated, designed, and operated. However, some real gas performance may be quite different from the ideal gas when the gas pressure is high. Some gases, such as carbon dioxide, hydrogen and nitrogen, are considered, both the T-groove dry gas seal and the radial groove dry gas seal are analyzed. The virial equation of state is used to express real gas performance, and the effect of real gas on the performance of dry gas seal is analyzed. The results show the maximum relative of opening force error is -4.98% and the maximum relative error of leakage is -20.11% for carbon dioxide; the maximum relative error of opening force is -0.46% and the maximum relative error of leakage is 2.47% for hydrogen; the maximum relative error of opening force is -0.04%, and the maximum relative error of leakage is -0.16% for nitrogen. So the effects of real gas of carbon dioxide and hydrogen have much influence on the performance of the dry seal; but the nitrogen has less influence on the performance of the dry seal.

Abstract: Hemispherical Resonator Gyro is rotation-sensing instrument and has the merits of reliability and longevity etc. The precision of HRG is depended on the vibration character of hemispherical shells. Using the semi-analytic method, this paper discussed vibration character of hemispherical shell resonator and derived an algorithm of semi-analytic spherical elements. The method applies displacement function with toroidal analysis and axial discrete, so original two dimension problem is reduced to one dimension problem. The new method is very much simplified and can efficiently calculate the correlative physical character of hemispherical shell resonator, so it has high practical value for engineering application.
