Abstract: In this study, the combination of cooling towers and plate heat exchanger was used to concentrate the seawater after desalination. The experimental results show that: The heat transfer coefficient was found to increase by 9.6% as the concentration of desalinated seawater with softening pretreatment was increased four times. With the concentration of the brine increases three times, the outlet temperature of cooling tower decrease by 1.1°C, the heat emission efficiency of cooling tower increases by 13.4%, and the evaporation loss of cooling tower increases by 20% per hour.

Abstract: The software Structure of support system for the Country Karst Land Use Change and Optimal Regulation Decision is discussed in LUCC. Case compare study about land use change and Spatial Decision Support System. The system database, the model library, method base and knowledge base are built. By using C# language, the ArcEngine of GIS component technology, the corresponding software is developed .Through research for instant of the Karst area of Guangxi Du’an. It can apply to support and help for the Land branch decisions and land use research. The results are satisfactory.

Abstract: In this study,it was carried out amplifying the 16S rRNA gene fragment from the samples screened in the sludge in the sewage treatment plant and induced. Comparing it with the known sequences from Genbank, the result was that the stainDX1 had 99%homology with Bacillus cereus. Combined with the morphological and biochemical character,The stain DX1 was identified as Bacillus cereus.

Abstract: The construction of a new city will change the use of land and break the original balance of carbon circulation. The carbon emissions will significantly increase duo to the human activity. The authors study the master plan of Panjin New City at the initial stage, calculate the carbon emissions and fixations on the basis of official statistics and relative formulas, and give the suggestions to adjust the project from the perspective of establishing carbon equilibrium. After calculation, the authors find:(1) Agricultural land, whose quantity of carbon fixations is 314.59 thousand tons per year, is the main carbon sink;(2) Urban land which mainly consists of residential land, industrial land and public facilities land is the main carbon source and release 813.12 thousand tons carbon per year; (3) The average per capita figure of carbon deficit is as much as 4.38 tons, which is 2.39 times as much as the standard level put forward by the United Nations. According to the data analyzing, the authors suggest that adjusting the proportion of the urban land, increasing the areas of green space and developing the ecological agriculture will be effective solutions to increase carbon surplus.

Abstract: A continuous-flow two-sludge system was operated for efficient enhanced biological phosphorus removal. Phosphorus uptake took place solely under anoxic conditions with simultaneous denitrification in this system. Basic operating condition, namely sludge retention time was chosen as variable in order to assess its impact on the system performance. The experimental results indicated that the system could work stably and efficiently when the inflow was 100 L/h, the sludge retention time was 10 d, the internal bypass ratio was 30% and the reflux ratio was 30%.

Abstract: The study on substrate inhibition kinetics in Anammox-UASB reactor was carried out treating low C/N wastewater. Haldane model was researched through non-linear fitting to represent the inhibition caused by nitrite. The results showed that Haldane model was suitable for fitting dynamics model. In Haldane model, rmax was 1.15 kg/( m3•d), KS=9.31 mg/L, KIH=476 mg/L. On condition that the concentration of nitrite was 66.57 mg/L, substrate conversion rate reached the highest value which was 0.90 kg/(m3•d) actually. And it was 78.1% of the highest value in theory.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the disadvantages of traditional wet cutting processing, it is reflected that dry cutting technology in green manufacturing has the advantages of less environmental pollution and rational utilization of resources. The research into dry cutting technology and the quick application of it into industry has a great significance in protecting ecological environment and improving manufacturing level.

Abstract: The methods of BOD5/CODCr, respiratory curve and COD30 were adopted to evaluate the biodegradability of oxidized sulfiting rapeseed oil fatliquor. The results showed that when the concentrations of the substrate were 250 mg/L and 500mg/L and the dosage of unacclimated activated sludge was 300mg and pH was 7, the substrate was biodegradable and the biodegradation rate was up to 90%. When unacclimated activated sludge was 300mg and pH was 7, the biodegradability of the substrate with the concentration of 1000mg/L became bad and the biodegradation rate reduced to 80.9%. Moreover, the effect of pH, inoculation amount and salinity on the biodegradability of the substrate was obvious. The biodegradability of the substrate was best as pH was 7 and alkaline medium had little influence on the biodegradability of the substrate. When the inoculation amount increased to 1500mg/L, the biodegradation rate increased. The biodegradability of the substrate was inhibited as the external NaCl addition was 5% or 10%. The substrate could not be degraded as the external NaCl addition was 15%. The high salinity provided hyperosmolarity for microorganism, which caused microorganism cells dehydrate and activity inhibited. When the concentration of the substrate was 500mg/L, the ratio of BOD5/CODCr increased from 0.30 to 0.46 under the optimum condition. The biodegradability of the substrate was excellent.

Abstract: Oil spill detection has important significance for the oceanic environmental protection. With the rapid development of the satellite remote sensing, remote sensing technique has become one of the important and effective tools in oil spill detection. This paper discussed the method of the offshore surface oil spill detection using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). The oil spill detection systems used at home and abroad is evaluated. Finally, the feasibility of the oil spill detection system based on the satellite remote sensing developed by China National Offshore Oil Corporation is studied.

Abstract: The carbon capture and geological storage technology (CCGS) is an efficient way of reducing emissions of greenhouse gases. With the inclusion of CCGS as Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project activity, companies will invest more on CCGS projects due to the possibility of generating Certificated Emission Reduction (CER). This paper study the economic feasibility of a CCGS project as a CDM activity, applied to the Campos Basin in Brazil, considering all annual costs related to capture, transport and storage and the revenue originated from the sale of CERs and the extra oil that only could be produced through enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
