Current Sensing Circuit Applied to Switching Regulator

Article Preview

Abstract:

A current sensing circuit for current mode switching regulator control circuit is designed, sensing the current through a power switch. Compared with sensing series resistor voltage drop, it reduces the power consumption of a switching regulator, improves efficiency, and sense smaller inductor current. This structure can be used in devices such as mobile phones, tablet PCs power management circuitry.
