Abstract: The rheological and electrical properties of composites formed by filling high density polyethylene (HDPE) with carbon black (CB) were characterized. Nonuniversal electrical behavior was observed with critical exponent t of 2.9 for the composites. The phenomenon was interpreted in terms with tunneling-percolation model. The effects of shearing frequency and particle concentration on the rheological behavior of the composites were investigated. A second plateau of storage modulus and strong shear thinning behavior were observed at low frequencies induced by aggregation of fillers. And the rheological percolation threshold is found to coincide well with the electrical one.

Abstract: In this paper, the BP neural network nonlinear relationship model of friction coefficient between the GB5763-98 standards and SAEJ661 test specifications has been built, and the model was trained. The prediction results show that by the BP model: forecasts and actual test results are basic agreement; the error size is not more than 0.1.

Abstract: In order to solve the time of the propellant of the engine in miniature too short, the power of the propellant of the engine is not enough. In this article, the material characteristic of the engine material and the structure characteristic of the engine are analyzed. Also the reliability of the material and the structure characteristic is researched. This article could be used as reference for the design of the rocket engine.

Abstract: Research has been done on the heating value of ethanol, biodiesel and diesel, and their heating values were measured with oxygen bomb calorimeter, by means of GB/T384-81 national standard. All errors are limited in the range of national standard. Research and calculation results indicate that the heating value of ethanol-biodiesel-diesel decreases with the increasing ratio of ethanol and biodiesel. The calculation value through experimental formula of low heating value is higher than that of experimental measuring. The higher percentage is in the range of 5.7%~7.6%.

Abstract: Currently, many inorganic materials are investigated for modifying asphalts, but biomass ash is rarely applied to the modification of asphalt. In this present work, rice-husk-ash, as a representative of the biomass ashes, was added as a modifier to evaluate the related performance. The result showed that the basic performance, aging resistance, and high-temperature performance of modified asphalt has been improved, which proves that biomass ash can be used as an asphalt modifier for resource reuse.

Abstract: As a new light-emitting material, quantum dot having the advantages of other materials that can not be replaced. It is not only the fluorescence quantum yield, and light stability. Therefore, we use CdSe core-shell structure of the quantum dot LED devices as the electron-hole recombination layer. In this paper, we synthesized emission peak is located at 588nm CdSe core-shell quantum dots, and made array display LED devices with ZnO as the electron transport layer.

Abstract: A new type of isotope preparation system was designed with excellent accuracy, high degree automation and high security. In view of the existing equipment with automation low degree automation, poor safety, much long preparation time and low precision of the sample preparation problems, a series of improvements were introduced, such as the automatic sampling device, contact valve, vacuum auxiliary system, gas meter and digital dashboards. It was found that the instrument finely designed had the characteristics such as high accuracy, automation and security. Combined with the sample detection device, the preparated sample had excellent detection results. Meanwhile, a set of standard operating procedures had also been formed. Furthermore, the sample preparation process was briefly discussed.

Abstract: The lattice parameters (lattice constants a, c), elastic properties (elastic constants, bulk modulus, shear modulus) and optical parameter (dielectric function) are investigated from a theoretical perspective using computer simulation in the frame of density functional theory. The calculated lattice constants and elastic moduli are in agreement with the theoretical results. We found that anatase can retain its stability in the pressure interval 020Gpa. The anisotropy of this compound is found to increase with applied pressure. Moreover, the dielectric functions are also discussed. The plasma frequency and static dielectric constant of TiO2 are 16eV and 6.1, respectively.

Abstract: The FeAl intermetallic compound coatings were deposited by low pressure plasma spray, air plasma spray and high velocity oxy-fuel spray. The influence of three kinds of thermal spraying processes on the microstructure, microhardness, elastic modulus and fracture toughness of coatings was investigated. The results show that the FeAl coating deposited by low pressure plasma spray presents special mechanical properties such as higher microhardness and elastic modulus as well as lower fracture toughness, when compared with those by atmospheric plasma spray or high velocity oxy-fuel spray.
