Abstract: In order to meet the computing speed required by 4G wireless communications, and to provide the different data processing widths required by different algorithms, an SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) core has been designed. The ISA (Instruction Set Architecture) and main components of the SIMD core are discussed focus on how the SIMD core can be configured. Finally, the simulation result of the multiplication of two 8*8 matrices is presented to show the execution of instructions in the proposed SIMD core, and the result verifies the correctness of the SIMD core design.

Abstract: We discussed the development of SMS link system for sending and receiving short messages between corporation and users. We compared the advantages and disadvantages of several implement approaches and proved the correctness of our current system. We also discussed the mechanism, function, and features of our SMS link system.

Abstract: In this paper we have proposed an innovative design for a reconfigurable micro strip patch antenna for wireless applications. It has a central patch antenna operating at 7.5 GHz called as driven patch; with two adjacent wing patches which when connected with the central patch reconfigure the operating frequency to 5.5 GHz and 2.9 GHz. The design is performed by using 3D electromagnetic simulator HFSS considering ideal MEMS switches.

Abstract: This paper realizes 1.2kbps Mixed Excitation Linear Prediction (MELP) speech compression algorithm through multi-frame joint and Vector Quantization technology. In order to adapt to underwater acoustic channel, we apply the Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation (OFDM) to modulate the source bits, together with synchronization, channel estimation and RS error correcting code technology. The hardware platform of this system relies on TMS320DM642 and AIC23. Moreover, we introduce single vector hydrophone to restrain the local source. The system finished duplex speech signal acquisition and transmission and tank test results prove that the synthesized speech is clear and understandable and it has a stable performance.

Abstract: The widespread adoption of broadband Internet connections has led to a fast growth of applying web-based learning systems (LS) to education, LS becomes more important in e-learning and future education. LS provides a centralized environment where learners can study, communicate, etc. With the Internets growth, various learning contents and different LSs are distributed independently. Thus, managing the distributed information and implementing interoperability between learning contents and LSs are more challenging. Web services are the most innovative and well-established technology for communications between heterogeneous applications. This paper proposes the architectural model for sharing learning contents between heterogeneous systems. It includes requirements analysis, sharable learning contents format definition, and model design. Sharable learning contents is defined based on the concept of learning object and implemented in the favor of transactional memory. The model is divided into five modules for different tasks, which implements maximum reuse of high-quality educational resources on web conveniently.

Abstract: Computer room is an important infrastructure of information technology on education for colleges, how to balance the load, calculate fees flexibly, improve resource utilization, service for the teachers and students better is an urgent problem.Firstly, the development trends of computer room management systems are discussed in the paper. Secondly, gives a data model of open computer room management system, which in order to balance the load and improve the utilization efficiency etc. of computer rooms. Finally, gives the intelligent billing algorithm according to the designed data model, and then implemented the algorithm using stored procedure with SQL Server 2005.

Abstract: Now, the aspect-oriented software development is placed in the initial phase. For the nature of dynamic weaving, it is difficult to test the aspect-oriented dynamic weavings. The methods of the object-oriented testing and the procedure-oriented testing can not be applied in the dynamic weaving testing. In this paper, it analyzes the properties of the dynamic weaving, and induces the constraints in the dynamic weaving. Then, it regards the dynamic weavings as the processes piling the crosscutting concerns up the core concerns, and gives the formation concepts of the dynamic weaving. Following, it appends the weaving semantics to the sequence diagrams, and gives the constraints testing of the dynamic weavings based on the sequence diagrams. This method can give the testing cases through the dynamic weaving designs directly. It solves the transition-problem from the aspect-oriented design to the aspect-oriented testing in some manner.

Abstract: This paper presents an approach, called GOM, for modeling and implementing the architecture of multimedia content publish/subscribe (Pub/Sub) applications using a graph-oriented multimedia (GOM) model. The GOM unites three of the applications aspects, namely the content aspect, the semantic aspect, and the functional aspect, and provides means for the integration of ontological knowledge within the GOM graph structure. A formal definition is proposed for the GOM. Performance is evaluated. The results show that the GOM can easily be constructed, while enabling an efficient management by the publishing and subscribing of multimedia content.

Abstract: Based on the yearly catch data (1994~2011) of Chinese fishery and inversed SST from satellite remote sensing in North Pacific Ocean, we developed the predicting system of fishing grounds using Bayesian probability theory. The system used the client/service mode; while the database used the SQL Server 2000 data management system combining with the Control type GIS technology. The precision verification using historical catch data was conducted and the results showed that the prediction accuracy of fishing and non-fishing ground were 69.46% and 57.15%, respectively, and the total average predict rate of accuracy was 63.31%. The predicting system showed important advising significance in foresting fishing ground and fishing activity of the flying squid in North Pacific Ocean.

Abstract: To strengthen monitoring and dispatching of survey ships and supervision on offshore projects, a marine geological survey monitoring model, based on satellite communication system, AIS and WEBGIS, is developed. By displaying ship real-time dynamic information and working process in the network electronic chart, this system improves the management level of offshore production scheduling. At present, the system has already been applied by Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey, gaining excellent effect.
