Abstract: A new idea about realizing the typing exam system was proposed. The exam system is based on network. It takes full advantage of the Browser/Server model, such as the strong interaction, high rapidity, security and the strong share. The exam system is developed with ASP. It is simple to install, easy to use and full-featured. Through the practical application, it is found that the exam system is satisfied the requirements of typing exam. There is not report of similar software up to now.

Abstract: A new threshold function was proposed to overcome that hard threshold function is not continuous, soft threshold function has constant deviation and derivative discontinuity defects. It will be applied to using different thresholds denoising method with different decomposition level based on the D.J global threshold. Experimental results shows that the denoising result of new threshold function is superior to the traditional soft and hard threshold function in minimum mean square error (MSE) and peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR).

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the workflow patterns, this paper designs the active state of the workflow, and puts forward the idea of the logical design of the engine driven. It can conveniently define the information model of the workflow based on relational database systems, it can effectively reduce the difficulty on the technical development of the workflow engine and take full advantage of existing relational database system to realize the information system that has the nature of the workflow and reduce the cost of the implementation.

Abstract: When the number of labeled training samples is very small, the sample information people can use would be very little and the recognition rates of traditional image recognition methods are not satisfactory. However, there is often some related information contained in other databases that is helpful to feature extraction. Thus, it is considered to take full advantage of the data information in other databases by transfer learning. In this paper, the idea of transferring the samples is employed and further we propose a feature extraction approach based on sample set reconstruction. We realize the approach by reconstructing the training sample set using the difference information among the samples of other databases. Experimental results on three widely used face databases AR, FERET, CAS-PEAL are presented to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed approach in classification performance.

Abstract: The commercial time-series database is suitable for processing the time-series data. However, a single commercial time-series database can only accommodate the time-series data acquired by limited amount of sensors. In this paper, in order to cope with the challenge of massive time-series data processing, we first propose a cloud time-series database framework based on commercial time-series databases, and then propose an effective consistent hashing based algorithm for solving the key problem, i.e., the data localization problem, in cloud time-series databases. A performance study shows the superiority of the framework and the algorithm for processing massive time-series data acquired by large amount of sensors.

Abstract: A new kind of shape control learning algorithm (SCLA) for training neural networks is proposed. We use the rational cubic spline (with quadratic denominator) to implement a new neural system for shape control, and construct a new kind of artificial neural networks based on given patterns. The shape can be controlled by some shape parameters, which is much different from the known algorithms for training neural networks. The numerical experiments indicate that the new method proposed in this paper demonstrates good results.
