Discussion about the Professional Quality and the Education for Civil Engineers

Abstract:

The civil engineers' structure of quality is mainly consisting of three levels which are the knowledge, ability and quality. The rich and three-dimensional of knowledge structure, the ability of engaging in engineering design, organizing, managing and solving technical problems in engineering constructions, excellent humanities, scientific quality, and engineering quality are necessary for a civil engineer. Therefore, aiming to achieve innovation and development of civil engineering personnel training, the comprehensive curriculum system, diverse methods and paths of training is to be developed in higher education.
