Abstract: Winter concrete construction is inevitable to cold winter in the north of China.Concrete antifreezing and frost are the emphasis and difficulty in winter construction.In the present work, the method of concrete construction in winter and the mixture ratio adjustment of concrete in storage method construction were introduced, expounds the concrete during transportation and pouring temperature control matters.

Abstract: Steel bar truss deck is a kind of combination template which is processed into steel trusses with steel, and welded steel bar truss and galvanized steel sheeting into a whole. It has many advantages such as economical, convenient, safe and reliable, etc. It can withstand the concrete weight and construction loads and installed directly on the steel beam without support at the bottom. This paper introduces the construction technology of steel bar truss deck with Tianjin Museum engineering examples. The technology has made a better construction, and ensured the construction period and the quality of the project in this project.

Abstract: Through the packing particles analysis test and heavy compaction test at different depths of new system of Baotou steel finished product of the test section , analysis of the grain size distribution of slag and fly ash mixture and the content of coarse and fine particles on compaction effect are conducted , the results show that the filler embankment foundation is mainly for uniform gradation and continuous filler, when the coarse particle of the filler is 83% ~ 84% content, the compaction effect is best. Using multiple linear regression, the grain size distribution characteristics of the filler particle size equation, coarse and fine particle content and maximum dry density of the regression equation are obtained .

Abstract: The conventional water treatment generates a residue - sludge - which must be properly disposed. There are many ways residue disposal, with for example, landfilling, incineration and reuse of sludge in construction. A advantage of the use of sludge in construction is the decreased consumption of cement and aggregates reduction of environmental impact, considering that the extraction of materials such as sand and gravel. Several studies have been developed using sludge in exchange for raw materials used in proportions that do not alter the properties of concrete. This study evaluates the incorporation of sludge in concrete used to manufacture concrete blocks. Were studied three compositions for the manufacture of concrete blocks such as: Trace 1 (reference),dash 2: by replacing 10% of the mass of cement by the dry sludge and dash 3: by replacing 20% of the mass of cement by the dry sludge. The results indicate that for traces 1, 2 and 3, the blocks are classified with a structural function, for use in masonry elements above ground level, according to the Brazilian standard.

Abstract: In this paper, a three stories villa was build and furniture was arranged according to the actual usage condition. The scene that building caught fire and flames escaped from the window and spread upward along the facade cladding system was simulated to verify the actual effect of fire barrier. The results showed that the first fire barrier obviously prevented flame dispersing and can raise ETICS fire safe ability.

Abstract: In the paper, the improved coupling convection and diffusion model of chloride ion penetration in reinforced concrete (RC) structures under corrosive environments is presented, in which many major influence factors such as environmental temperature and relative humidity, water ratio of concrete, and stress state etc are considered. Based on Fourth-Moment stochastic simulation theory, the estimation of the depassivation probability of reinforcement in corrosive RC is analyzed. And many important conclusions on depassivation of reinforcement is gained, which will be useful for repair, rehabilitation, and replacement of RC structures in corrosive environments.

Abstract: The glulam is determined by, and therefore a representation of, a new kind of ecological structural materials. The aim of this study was to summarize the mechanical performance especially the flexural behavior of various kinds of glulam and the physical properties of their relevant original timbers including pseudotsuga menziesii, larch, Yi poplar, poplar, China fir, mongolian scotch pine and camphor. And then it established and analyzed the relationship between the two to contrast those timber species so as to provide engineers with some reference in selecting timber glulam.

Abstract: It’s of great practical significance to improve the durability of steel-concrete composite beam structures.The deterioration of steel-concrete composite beams includes stud rust, reinforcement corrosion, corrosion of the steel beams and concrete performance degradation, which are caused by a number of factors. The corrosion mechanism of composite beams is discussed, and some basic issues remain to be solved in this area are analyzed in the paper. Besides, some research directions in the future are put forward.
