Abstract: The proportion of energy consumption in construction industry is considerable and therefore more and more attention has to be paid to the development of green buildings. Green buildings have significant environmental and social benefits but the incremental cost becomes one of the major obstacles that hinder their development. Based on the externality theory and Coase Theorem, this paper establishes a utility function of three participants (consumers, enterprises and governments) in green buildings, and derives a decision-making model for government. The model could explain the influence mechanism about how the incremental cost restricts the development of green buildings with full market regulation. Decision-making process of green buildings is also proposed, which indicates that related policies, such as government subsidies, tax exemptions, carbon emissions trading in some developed countries, could regulate the market and achieve more efficient allocation of external benefits of green buildings. Finally this paper, taking into account the fact that the development of green buildings in developing countries like China is in its infancy, proposes a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) scheme for green buildings, which could internalize the external benefits by utilizing enterprises professional services and high efficiency. It is hoped that the conclusions would be useful for the development and promotion of green buildings.

Abstract: The green building is a new concept, risk management is pretty vital, because there are many uncertain factors, this paper firstly analyzes the green building risks, main risk index in green building risk factors at present, set up a scientific, reasonable and feasible risk evaluation index system, structure judgment matrix by the expert scoring method, to make scientific and objective evaluation quantitative on basis of qualitative analysis influence by analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, gray system theory was used into green building risk assessment area to get clear evaluation criteria and scientific measure of risk in decision making ,to provide concrete and feasible basis for the green building risk management in phase of the decision-making.

Abstract: The project of City Plaza and its office buildings all regard the green three-star as the overall design goal, which has been identified by the China's Green Three-star Design Evaluation. This project could make rational use of the natural conditions and ecological energy-saving technology to the maximum extent by the comprehensive planning and architectural monomer design, and adopt the low-cost and low-input way such as the green building materials to balance and protect the surrounding ecosystem. Therefore, it could improve the energy-saving efficiency of project and explore a new organic mode to apply modern green building energy-saving technologies in the process of tradition respect and protection.

Abstract: Culture as an important part of social sustainability, can influence on the energy saving as well. Fist because definition of good life and benchmark of comfort vary significantly in different culture. Second, as in the society like Mosuo, the understanding of home is different to majority of rest nations. The significance of architecture is much associated with cultural satisfaction instead of high standard of physical comfort. To make things better, in such built environment as Mosuo, culture is the main focus, and social relationship is always tightly bonded in a harmonious state. Another finding from this study is that Mosuos social system demonstrates an interesting ability at keeping a steady level of its population for a long time in China; where population explosion is a crucial problem. It is the typical pattern of Mosuo house that enables the distinct lifestyle of Mosuo people to be dynamic and perpetual. Considering from material choosing, house building and daily occupation, these indigenous homes present a low carbon, ecological dwelling with substantial cultural significance. Nowadays, technology is nearly regarded as the universal judgment standard. However, social sustainability has been paid attention by researchers in developed countries and its cross-discipline study with built environment is also a heated topic. This study showed a new angle that culture could contribute to the conception of sustainable life style and the consequent paradigm on a new form of green buildings.

Abstract: Implementation of green construction is a concrete manifestation of the concept of sustainable development in the construction phase. The key measures for green construction technology are energy saving, material saving, water saving and land saving during construction,as well as protecting environment and guaranteeing professional health. The comprehensive technologies for green construction in staff housing project of Xi'an Railway Bureau are introduced, as well as management measures, the measure of protecting the environment and resource conservation measures are described in detail. These measures may have some reference on promotion of green construction.

Abstract: This is a case study on the Magic school of Green Technology (MSGT), the first zero-carbon building in Taiwan. This study simulated the energy performance of the MSGT by using eQUEST, a tool for simulating building energy, before the construction was complete. This study compared the simulated energy use with the actual energy use of the MSGT in 2011, and determined that the actual energy use was lower than the simulated energy use. Based on this comparison, the study proved that the MSGT consumed 65% less energy than do similarly sized buildings with the same functions.

Abstract: Currently, existing green building assessment system at home and abroad mainly in the planning, construction etc, less involves structural design. Based on the promotion and development of the macro-objectives of green building, from the perspectives of section with outdoor environment, energy-saving and energy utilization, water conservation and utilization of water resources, materials and material resource utilization and indoor environmental quality, the green residential building evaluation system based on gray chustering method has been built. According to the situation of the green residential building structure design, computing green residential building structure evaluation of the gray number albino function and Gray Variable clustering coefficient, summarized the clustering vector of the design of the building structure, finally to evaluate its green level, case study was adopted to verify the practicability and scientificity of the method.

Abstract: Firstly, this article induces out the theme of reforming the energy-saving of campus buildings through the current situation about huge energy consumption from campus construction. Secondly, taking the buildings of Shantou University’s “Engineering Institute, CDIO innovation center” as an example and combining BIM(Building Information Modeling) with green building come up with every green reform strategy we will use to reach the purpose that changing the current building into a kind of better building which is water-saving, electricity-saving, ventilation and heat protection. Finally, we will make a conclusion that combining BIM with green building is a good way to make a feasible design for guide construction.

Abstract: In this paper, an improved model of photovoltaic cell is proposed. By using Lambert W function, the improved model of solar cell is deduced. Meanwhile, the current-voltage and power-voltage curves of photovoltaic cell are calculated and simulated in Matlab/Simulink environment. Compared to the popular model and experimental data, the proposed method shows excellent agreement between the current-voltage points. It is found that the proposed modeling method has less error at the maximum power point state.
