Abstract: Shipyards are facing challenges when trying to manage their project plan under make to order mode and, at the same time, control their production process in a pull way according to the lean manufacturing principle. A Lean shipbuilding planning and pull-way control integrated system (LSPCIS) model is established, which provides the architecture of realizing the lean principle in planning and production control area for shipbuilding. Then, a Project Plan Restricted Pull-way production control method (PPRP) is introduced where the bottom level is based on pull principle, while under the restriction of receding horizon plan and project plan. The study reveals that even under the make to order production mode of shipbuilding, it is still possible to establish a leanness oriented planning and production Control system, where the receding horizon plan can work as a middle level between the project plan and pull-way production control. The result of a production process simulation is introduced at the end of the paper, to validate the advantage of the PPRP control method comparing with the normal KANBAN control and pure push way of material delivery.

Abstract: In view of the limitations of EPR infinite capacity theory, and based on that the infinite capacity of production scheduling methods already can not adapt to modern enterprise management requirements, this paper regards the digital unmanned workshop as the research object, and build a kind of digital workshop production scheduling model based on limited buffer zone, and present the solving method. The model can improve the utilization rate of machine tools under the circumstances of limited buffer area. At the same time it provides a practical and effective solution to solve the emergency single plug.

Abstract: The index of investment cycle cost (ICC) and users convenience of electric vehicles are presented. Based on the aim to minimizing investing unit and user fees, fix a charging station model in scales and layouts. ICC consist initial investments, cost of network losses and investments for new transmission lines. Convenience is measured by electrical power consumption expense from users to the charging station. Adding constraint of grid security and economical efficiency, the optimization aim function was set which comprehensively considers investors and users cost and operation of power grid. Chaos Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm (CPSO) was used to settle it. By empirical study of certain planning area, the proposed model and algorithm are proved to be scientific and effective.

Abstract: With the utility deregulation and market operation in China, economic factor is becoming more and more important to the evaluation and decision making of power system projects. As an important characteristic of the electric market, uncertainty is an indispensable part of project evaluation and decision making. Considering that the traditional decision making theories fail to solve the uncertainty problem entirely, this paper applies the interval theory to evaluate and make decision on projects. The interval net present value (INPV) theory is used to conduct economic evaluation, and an interval analytic hierarchy process (IAHP) and interval binary programming based method is proposed to perform project decision-making. Case study has proved the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: The parametric design method and software development of nonstandard serialized assembly components based on Pro/Engineer 3D software platform are introduced. The parametric assembly design process is done by the usage of Pro/Toolkit secondary development kit and C programming language. An intermittent star-wheel assembly is presented as an example. The design accuracy and productivity of non-standard serialized assembly components can be significantly increased by adapting this method.

Abstract: Content-based publish/subscribe (pub/sub) is a promising paradigm for building asynchronous distributed applications. As the number of participants in the network increases, an important issue we need to consider is the privacy of the data transmitted over the pub/sub network. When such sensitive information is being sent, it should be possible to control how the data is disclosed and to whom. In this paper, we address the issue of encrypted access control in a publish/subscribe system that provides content-based routing through advertisement messages. We show that our approach can effectively improve the system's safety performance without full trust network support.

Abstract: In order to make weather forecast data more precise and help users to make right decisions, a new method that applying participatory sensing in meteorological information service system is put forward in this paper. The participatory sensing architecture consists of four layers: sensing layer, data transmission layer, data processing layer and application layer. The key technologies involved in each layer are analyzed. Its explained how to fuse sensing data collected from sensors carried by users mobile phone with traditional meteorological data. The weather information service prototype system based on participatory sensing is realized. Through the example, its proved that this system is feasible and effective to improve the precision of weather forecast.

Abstract: This study uses Grey relational analysis (GRA) to evaluate a portion of the algebraic reasoning that uses multiple-representation of pictorial patterns. Current results of this study not only identify the easiest and hardest questions for students, but also show how proposed GRA provides a novel approach to educational testing.
