Abstract: To improve the robustness of watermarking algorithms, this paper proposes a robust digital watermarking algorithm based on combination of fractal and wavelet. By key the algorithm transfers watermark information into self-similar fractal images, discretes Haar wavelet to host image, and embeds two fractal watermark image after fractal into Haar wavelet sub-band. Simulation results show that the algorithm has good robustness to image distortion as noise, JPEG compression, shear, filtering, etc.

Abstract: The key of rotated image matching is to determine the rotation invariant features. Accordingly, the circular projection algorithm is proposed. This paper presents an improved algorithm based on circular projection. Through improving the projection algorithm of radius and increasing the projection algorithm of rotation angle, this algorithm has the ability to match and rotation correction. Meanwhile, the algorithm for arbitrary rotation angle is effective, it is robust to the rotation and the noise, and it has high efficiency.

Abstract: Gaussian Mixture Model-Universal Background Model based approaches have been popular used for speaker identification task. But in real complex environment the identification system performs too much worse than in laboratory, and the main reason is the mismatch of the training and testing channel and also the variability of the speaker himself. In this paper we introduce i-vector to the speaker identification system. In i-vector approach, a low dimensional subspace called total variability space is used to estimate both speaker and channel variability. Baum-Welch statistics are first computed over the given UBM to estimate the total variability. From the experiment results, we obtain 2.44% relative accurate identification rate improvement when using total variability space to compensate the mismatch of the variabilities from both the speaker and channel.

Abstract: There are two conventional techniques i.e. the approach based on structural testing and non-damaged detecting method, of which the former is partial to structural integrity analysis while the latter focuses on partial detection. The damage identification approach is discussed from the perspective of detection medium in the paper. And non-destructive testing in civil engineering (NDT-CE), of which the research status and existing issues are presented, can be attributed into three categories as following: one is based on the stress wave theory, such as impact-echo method, acoustic emission technique and ultrasonic pulse method; one employs the mechanism of electromagnetic wave propagation on behalf of GPR; one uses radiography as the medium, for instance, infrared imaging and computerized tomography. It is emphasized that ground penetrating radar (GPR) has been applied in practice and studied more and more, and moreover, the prospects in the field are provided.

Abstract: In order to develop the reliability assessment of high-reliability and long-lifetime products, analyses for accelerated degradation test is discussed in this article. First, a method of building degradation path is presented; second, the means of degradation data processing is analyzed; finally, an example is presented and validity of this method is verified.

Abstract: Extraction of form structure is the precondition of the form recognition. The paper presents a simple and fast method for extracting form structure. Through the analysis of form structure characteristics, the method includes extracting form line with mathematical morphology, thinning form line, mending form line, adjusting form line and so on. The method is realized in this paper and the results are given. The result shows that this method is effectively to extract form structure.
