Abstract: The three kinds of applications of Internet of Things (IOT[) in intelligent transportation are firstly introduced on the whole. Then the highway ETC system and RFID parking management system are expounded. The basic principle, system composition and the system workflow of RFID parking management system in detail. The thorough analysis of the parking management system will provide reference for the future application of IOT in the intelligent transportation field.

Abstract: We have put forward a RFID routing algorithm based on virtual coordinates, on the basis of the differences and similarities between the RFID route and the WSN route. In order to solve the RFID routing problem under the environment of mobile node, this method has specified physical environment with virtual coordinates, and has found the optimal path between the source node and destination node by using scanning calculation. In the eclipse environment, the results of the experiment show that this method is more efficient and has less communication overhead.

Abstract: The load/unload task in a transshipment port yard is more heavy and the time requirmement is more tight than an export port.A multi-objective and stochastic programming optimization model for containers stacking in the storage yard of a transshipment port is built to improve its efficiency. The objective function is to minimize the number of yard cranes used in the storage yard and balance the workload among different blocks during the planning period. The decision variables include the number of transit containers assigned to yard-bits, yard cranes distributed to blocks, yard-bits with high and low workload in a block. The constraints include meeting the shipping requirement, storage capacity and operational capacity of yard cranes. The numbers of transit containers are stochastic.The model is tranfered into an integer programming and solved by Lingo9.0. The simulation is done to recover the relation between workload level and the number of yard crane used and the workload balance. The model can be used to yard stacking management and lift its level for a transshipment port.

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of automated warehouse, the order-picking task of the fixed shelve was researched and analysed. The picking mathematical model of automated warehouse was established and attributed to the classical traveling salesman problem (TSP) model. At the same time, using an improved genetic algorithms(improved GAs) solved the optimization problem. Firstly, the initial population of the algorithm was optimized, and then a 'reverse evolution operator' was introduced in the improved genetic algorithms because of the lack of local optimization ability of genetic algorithm. Results of experiments verify that the method can acquire satisfying the demands of the route picking and optimization of speed.

Abstract: Flights landing scheduling problem is an NP-hard problem, the article presents an Ant colony optimization algorithm based on dynamic calculation of the heuristic information to solve a single runway flights landing scheduling problem. The algorithm has better global search ability and relatively fast convergence rate. The experimental results show that compared with traditional first come first serve, genetic algorithm and particle swarm algorithm, this method can quickly give the better flight approach and landing order to help controllers make efficient aircraft scheduling policy and reduce flight delays. Abstract: Because the current research on traffic level has not yet been achieved classification, it cannot timely and effectively provide the basis for the public transportation and safety management of the traffic control department. Introduce traffic safety index based on toll data to evaluate freeway traffic levels. Firstly, combined with the relevant indicators of traffic engineering, put forward the concept of freeway traffic safety index; secondly, calculate the traffic safety index by analyzing real-time toll data; finally, in order to improve the accuracy of evaluation, have an optimization of traffic safety index definition. Application on the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao freeway shows that traffic safety index can be combined with monitoring data to evaluate the condition of road sections and the road network, and its historical data can be used to predict the road traffic conditions, and provide effective guidance for freeway traffic safety operation.

Abstract: The paper dose research about the optimization of container shipping of sea carriage for meeting the goods transport requirement by use of stochastic programming. Both laden and empty containers are combined into a system. In particular, the effect of special laden container shipping capacity on the shipping plan is investigated. In the model, the objective function is to maximize the total profit of container shipping. The profit caused by laden container shipping minus the cost caused by both laden and empty container shipping equal to the total profit. The constraints to the model include meeting the need of both laden and empty containers, shipping limit to both common and special laden containers, the number of empty container supported. The number of empty containers is stochastic and the model is transmitted to an integer programming. Lingo9.0 is used to solve the model and shipping methods in varied parameters are shown by simulation. The aim of the paper is to provide a reasonable plan of container shipping of sea-carriage, so the container shipping cost of a shipping company can be reduced and the its profit made by container shipping are maximized.
