Dynamic Contact Analysis of Power Spilt Device in Energy Coupling and Decoupling

Article Preview

Abstract:

Power Spilt Device (PSD) is the key power component of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), and it affects dynamic performances and fuel consumption of HEV. The dynamic contact analysis of PSD gear train is difficult, as it is time-consuming and complex to set calculation parameters. This paper presents a method for dynamic contact analysis of PSD gear train using ABAQUS software. Three working conditions are chosen to simulate the dynamic contact pressure. The work in this paper provides an effective simulation method for obtaining dynamic contact characteristics of PSD gear meshing.
