Research of a LED Intelligent Light System for Plant

Abstract:

Light environment is one of indispensable environmental factors for plant growth, and it is regulatory role for the development of plant growth morphogenesis and photosynthesis, etc. For the plants sodium uses too much power and cost issues, according to the demand characteristics of plant growth, proposed and designed a parameter adjustable LED intelligent light system. The core of system is ARM processor, using time control and PWM, etc. To achieve the modulation for quality of light, light intensity, photoperiod, and ways of working ( slider control to simulate the rising sun). The experiment proved that this system can provide the light needed for plants and reduce plant growth cycle. After the practical application, the system works well.
