Abstract: In the applications of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), the factor affecting the performance is energy consumption. In all operations in the WSN, Data transmission consumes a lot of energy because of its frequency. LEACH is proposed to reduce transmission distance. Cluster Head (CH) is selected randomly without any parameter, so CHs distribution is uneven and the distance between some nodes and their connected nodes is remote, which causes shortening system lifetime. In this paper, we proposed a new LEACH-based algorithm. The main purpose of new algorithm is to make CHs distribution even. In the improved algorithm, a node connects to a CH or acts as a temp CH based on the distance to the closest CH. The results of simulation show that improved LEACH algorithm increases energy efficiency and prolongs the network lifetime.

Abstract: Electronic tongue is a new type of modern analytical instrumentation based on the human taste receptor research mechanism. Use the sensor array, as the biological sensing taste buds cells, to detect object,and to get results by the method of pattern recognition. Introduce the principles of electronic tongue, the study of several typical systems. Focus on the application in liquor quality, microbial detection, as well as some existing problems in the research development.

Abstract: On-line monitoring of high voltage transmission lines can prevent or reduce the accidents of transmission reduced by icing,wave,breeze vibrations of electric wires and the dropping of electrical insulators.An on-line monitoring system of high voltage transmission lines based on optical fiber sensing technology is setted in this paper.Fiber optic signal demodulation instrument in the transformer substation receives the signal sent by the optical fiber Bragg grating sensors fitted on transmission lines and electric power towers,and then the signal was sent to the transmission line monitoring center by the power system network.Field hang net experiments shows that the system can monitor the high voltage transmission lines accurately for a long time.

Abstract: We propose a mobile agent fixed-direction one step routing algorithm based on modeling WSN node data collection task. This algorithm divides the data collection task into three stages to finish and they are searching start node for MA data collection, data collection and returning the sink node. MA determines the next hop node according to the surrounding node information sensed and current move direction information. Simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm can ensure that all nodes information in WSN is collected. Then, it can effectively reduce the total number of hops for information transferring and the node total energy consumption compared to LGF algorithm in C\S mode

Abstract: The measurement error models or EV(errors-in-variables) Models have been widely promoted in the field of statistics since 1877. According to the characteristics of the errors in variables, EV models can mainly be divided into three types: the additive model, the general measurement error model and berkson measurement error model. The emphases of researches in the EV models mainly focus on the effects of model estimation, hypothesis testing and model selection. In this paper, we concentrate on the research by conducted a systematic review of EV Models, in order to make a reference for researchers and practitioners.

This paper has reviewed and summarized the development of computer vision technology mainly in detection and grading of the quality of agricultural products, crop monitoring, automation of agricultural production, crop disease identification and other aspects and has discussed the prospect for future development.

Abstract: Road traffic flow parameters are the important basic information for traffic safety management, traffic condition evaluation and decision-making. This project designs a video-based traffic flow parameters monitoring terminal (ITS monitoring terminal), which is based on MENLOW embedded platform and expands its hardware and software resources. CCD cameras are used to capture image in video sequences in traffic environment. Image processing and analysis technologies are used to track vehicles and analyze the vehicle conditions in real time, and a vision measurement model which computes the traffic flow parameters, such as length, width, speed, distance between two vehicles, traffic flow density, and occupancy ratios, etc. is constructed. Furthermore, BP neural network is used to classify vehicles. ITS terminals interconnected with each other through public network or private network (optical ring network of transport agency, WLAN, Internet, and 3G) and connected with monitoring center of transport agency, which achieves dynamic data exchange and share among ITS terminals. It realized a wide-area distributed and integrated transport information system which synthesizes transport information guidance, traffic tracking; condition evaluation, decision-making, and real time transport information release.

Abstract: In order to improve the diagnosis accuracy of stator short circuit faults of three-phase induction motors, in this paper, a method using three-layered RBF neural network is proposed to diagnose the short circuit faults on the basis of analysis of structure and algorithm of RBF neural network. Then the approach to establish RBF neural network and the influence of different expanding coefficients upon the diagnosis accuracy are illustrated. The simulation results show that RBF neural network can successfully diagnose and classify six typical short circuit faults of induction motors. This method has a faster speed, higher accuracy and it needs fewer samples. In conclusion, RBF neural network is practical, efficient and intelligent in fault diagnosis of induction motors.

Abstract: In the three-dimensional scanners (3D scanners), the grating generator is a key hardware. The commercial video projector is always used to act as the electronic grating generator normally. But there are some defects existed. Such as, the size is too large to setup in the case, it is not easy to be controlled by a single chip microcomputer, etc. To solve these problems, in this paper, a new type of grating generator was designed. A complex programmable logic device (CPLD) chip is used to control a liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) video chip directly, and it works well.

Abstract: This paper studies the distributed data acquisition and processing technology based on wireless sensor network, and presents using a multichannel base station architecture to build wireless sensor network. The architecture can achieve data acquisition simultaneously for a long time in succession to all collection nodes, and transmit real time data to the monitoring center for data processing. The system is developed which could realize real-time monitor of the deep foundation displacement based on study.
