Abstract: Respiratory motion degrades anatomic position reproducibility, and result in significant errors in radiotherapy. 4D computed Tomography (4DCT) can characterize anatomy motion during breathing. Usually, the acquired 4DCT images sequences is out of order. How to rearrange the sequence, i.e. sort 4DCT images has been the focus of 4DCT. In this paper we propose a method based on locally linear embedding (LLE), to reconstruct time-resolved CT volumes. By mapping high dimensional image data with LLE into one dimensional space, each image is assigned a value, then 4DCT images is sorted according to the value to reconstruct a respiratory cycle. Experiments result shows that the method is feasible to sort 4 DCT images without using any external motion monitoring systems.

Abstract: Lithium battery film on-line defect recognition system is realized based on industrial charge-coupled device (CCD) to improve quality. Otsu algorithm is adopted for threshold instead of traditional method. Area of defect is sorted to get the largest defect and geometry and projective is extracted from image. Film defects of lithium battery recognition is realized based on Brightness Judgment and One-against-all support vector machine (OAA-SVM). Experiment results show that these methods are effective and feasible, the accuracy can reach 90%.

Abstract: The pseudo-random binary-phase code phase modulation and linear frequency modulation (PN-LFM) combined ranging system is a new detection system, which has proven to be powerful capacity in range resolution, velocity resolution and maximum range measurable without ambiguity. In this paper, we study the anti-jamming performance of the new ranging system, especially in the fractal stochastic noise environments. We analyze the impact mechanism of fractal noise on the PN-LFM detection system, and simulate the output of correlating detection. The cross correlation function, power spectrum function and average power of pseudo random signal and fractal noise are deduced, compared with the impact of white noise on the pseudo code detection system. Simulation shows that PN-LFM combined ranging system possess powerful anti-jamming capacity, and performs better in the fractal noise environment than Pseudo random code phase modulation system.

Abstract: Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (TDMB) is one popular broadcasting standard that enable digital television transmissions to hand held receivers and cooperative system take advantage of the broadcast nature of wireless channels, uses relay stations as virtual antennas. Relay stations are an attractive solution to penetrate the wireless system with lower transmitting power at the Base station. In this paper, we presented a scheme can switch on/off the power weighting ratio between Base station and Relay station in TDMB cooperative system. It will control the active relays in different channel propagations effectively.

Abstract: In the COgas shielded arc welding, the weld pool forms is closely related to the quality of welding, but weld pool shape is affected by the welding process parameters. By using BP neural network to predict weld puddle weld width, the results show that the experimental data are very close, thus indicating that prediction of weld width through this network method is very effective.

Abstract: DIVA (Directions Into Velocities of Articulators) is a mathematical model of the processes behind speech acquisition and production, supposed to achieve a functional representation of areas in the brain that are involved in speech production and speech perception. Owing to its especial structure and roles, introducing cerebellum control modules into the model plays a significant role in improving the mechanism of speech acquisition and production based on DIVA model. To solve this problem, the paper studies its learning process, and explores cerebellar contributions to the model, that is feedforward learning, sensory predictions, feedback command production and the timing of delays, and then adds the corresponding cerebellum modules into the feedback control subsystem on the basis of the current model. Simulation results show that the improved DIVA model can produce more clear and explicit speech sounds, and is more close to human-like pronunciation system.

Abstract: This article firstly uses svm to forecast cashmere price time series. The forecasting result mainly depends on parameter selection. The normal parameter selection is based on k-fold cross validation. The k-fold cross validation is suitable for classification. In this essay, k-fold cross validation is improved to ensure that only the older data can be used to forecast latter data to improve prediction accuracy. This essay trains the cashmere price time series data to build mathematical model based on SVM. The selection of the model parameters are based on improved cross validation. The price of Cashmere can be forecasted by the model. The simulation results show that support vector machine has higher fitting precision in the situation of small samples. It is feasible to forecast cashmere price based on SVM.

Abstract: General review of Change-Points detection methods applied in Interrupted Time Series Analysis for recent years. Articles from domains like meteorology, hydrology, stock analysis, sequences mining et al. are compared together. The literatures range from the 1980s to 2013. The methods are generally classified in Parametric, Semi-Parametric, and Nonparametric. Some non-statistical methods are also mentioned in this review. Characters of each method are briefly summarized. As all methods mentioned in this review share a common purpose that to detect change-points, most of them can be used in other domains after some proper adjustment.

Abstract: An effective log-likelihood-ratio-based belief propagation (LLR-BP) algorithm is proposed. It can reduce computational complexity of decoding algorithm for Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes. By using the Taylor series and least squares, high order multiplication based on the hyperbolic tangent (tanh) rule is converted to a first-order multiplication and addition after simplification. Moreover, all the logarithmic and exponential operations disappear without significant loss of the decoding performance. The simulation results show that the performance of the proposed scheme is similar to the general LLR-BP. In particular, we show that the modified algorithm with low complexity can achieve better BER than the other decoding algorithm in high signal-to-noise ratio region.
