Abstract: Biometrics technology is an important security technology and the research of it has become a new hot spot for its superior security features. Then hand vein recognition is a new biological feature recognition which has many advantages, such as safety, non-contact. According to the features of human hand vein image, a hand vein preprocessing method based on wavelet transform and windows maximum between-class difference method threshold (OTSU) segmentation algorithm is proposed. In this paper, the hand vein image is enhanced by adaptive histogram equalization in low frequency part of the hand vein image after wavelet decomposition and filtering before feature extraction. Then the windows OTSU threshold segmentation algorithm is used to get the features. The experimental results show that this method is simple and easy to realize and has laid a good foundation for the latter part of the vein recognition.

Abstract: Classical rough sets method makes knowledge absence in the key domain and affects the comprehensiveness of the index system after simplification, so an improved variable precision rough sets weighting model is proposed on the basis of variable precision rough sets theory. In the model, attributes are divided into first-class core attributes and second-class attributes, and core attributes are still calculated by the importance of the attributes in rough sets theory. The importance of second-class attribute is μ times of the core attributes’ minimum importance degree. Then normalize the importance degrees and convert them to weights. In the evaluation of the health of sound living environment, the model we proposed has lower error rates compared to other methods and the evaluation results demonstrate to be valid.

Abstract: The drastic increase in data volume strongly demands efficient search techniques for similar data to queries. It is sometimes useful to specify data of interest with fuzzy constraints. When data objects contain both numerical and categorical attributes, it is usually not easy to define commonly-accepted distance measures between data objects. With no efficient indexing structure, it costs much to search for specific data objects because a linear search needs to be conducted over the whole data set. This paper proposes a method to use locality sensitive hashing technique and fuzzy constrained queries to search for interesting ones from big data. The method builds up a locality sensitive hashing-based indexing structure only with constituting continuous attributes, collects a small number of candidate data objects to which query is examined, and then evaluates their satisfaction degree to fuzzy constrained query so that data objects satisfying the query are determined.

Abstract: Medical endoscopes have gained widespread applications in minimally invasive surgery. There are increasing needs to accurately evaluate their performance characteristics which are beneficial to the product design, manufacture, repair and supervision. This paper gives a review of the measurement methods for the imaging and photometric characteristics of the endoscopes, such as resolution, modulation transfer function, light loss, illumination uniformity, which are very important for the evaluation of the image quality. In actual measurement, the verification of a test device itself and the uncertainty assessment or error analysis of the measurement results are also very necessary from the view point of metrology.

Abstract: In view of the natural environment variability and uncertainty makes observations of some birds behavior complex and difficult, this paper proposes a Surendra adaptive background updating algorithm based on global threshold, which can update background automatically according to the environmental changes, and then extract the birds target region of interested by background subtraction and morphological filtering. The experimental results show that the birds moving target detection of video-captured has a good extraction effect.

Abstract: Tongue image extraction is a fundamental step in objective diagnoses and quantitive checking of tongues. The accuracy of tongue image extraction can directly influence the results of the succedent checking in objective diagnoses of tongues. In this paper, we improved random walk image segmentation algorithm and applied it to tongue image extraction. Firstly, we utilized toboggan algorithm which adopted new classification rules to segment initial regions. Secondly, a weighted-graph was built according to initial regions in which only those adjacent regions were connected. Thirdly, random walk algorithm was applied to make the final segmentation in which a new weight function was designed for calculating the weights between the nodes of adjacent regions. Fourthly, mathematical morphology operations, i. e. inflations and erosions, were carried out on the segmentation result of the third step in order to fill small holes on the tongue region. In the experiment, we compared our method with traditional random walk algorithm. As the experiment results show, our method achieved much better segmentation effects.

Abstract: Motion blur is a phenomenon common to nearly all photographs. Moving objects in the scene or camera movement during the exposure progress lead to blurred images. Lucy Richardson (LR) algorithm has been used to process image restoration of motion blur. In this paper LR algorithm would be discussed. The simulation experiment result shows the PSF plays an important role in the image restoration with LR iterative algorithm.

Abstract: While the flying test of the missile, many kinds of parameters need to be recorded and the recording instruments are working in harsh environment. For this particular application a Solid-state recorder had been designed for obtaining and recording flying parameters of the missile, including data acquisition module, power management module, the central control module, a data storage module, the reading interface module, etc. Meanwhile, analyzed structures of the Solid-state recorder and completed thermal analysis and impact stress analysis of the structure using finite element analysis software ANSYS. The results had shown that the recorder can survive well in the flying test of the missile and the recorder had been applied to the actual trial and got accurate and reliable data.

Abstract: Present a graphical modeling design methodology of component-based software architecture for distributed real-time system. First of all, definitions of real-time application component model, types of component element that are used for describing software architecture, and types of collaboration relationship between components are introduced in a graphical design environment. Secondly a graphical modeling design method of software architecture for distributed real-time system is described. Finally, the graphical modeling method based on components defined is illustrated via an example.

Abstract: A novel self-learning differential evolution is proposed to solve multi-center optimization under dynamic environments. The approach of Re-evaluating is used to monitor environmental changes, then historial best individual obtained the environment guides population to new environment. What's more, the self-learning mechanism is employed to reduce the impact of dynamic changes of environment. The experimental results on a set of 4 test dynamic functions show that, self-learning differential algorithm outperforms other algorithms in term of the convergence speed.
