Abstract: The corrosion inhibition effect of the 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium proline ([Omi [Pro]) for copper in 3.5% NaCl solution was investigated by using electrochemical methods. The results indicated that: the inhibition efficiency of [Omi [Pro] was more than 90%, which showed the excellent corrosion inhibition performance. The inhibition efficiency increased with increasing concentration of [Omi [Pro], and decreased with increasing temperature, but it changed very little when the concentration arrived at 0.001 mol/L. [Omi [Pro] was a good mixed-type inhibitor which mainly inhibited anodic processes.

Abstract: The relationships between microsturcture and cold forming property of 38CrMoAl steel have been studied by experimental analysis investigation. The heat treatment p rocess of guenching cyclic sphereidized annealing for obtaining sturcture with optimum cold forming property was suggested. Through this process the characters with lowerhardness, lower plastic deformation resistance and better processing plastic of the steel can get. the properties of this steel can meet the requirement of cold forming process for materials.

Abstract: In view of the extraction of liquid crystal from the wasted LCD panels, this paper aims to analyze the raw materials consumption, energy consumption and emissions to the environment in the extracting process based on the method of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The environmental impacts of the recycling procedure are assessed with the aid of LCIA(Life Cycle Inventory Assessment)method and CML2001 method provided by LCA analyzing software Gabi 4. Two ways of liquid crystal extraction mentioned in the paper are supercritical method and distilling method. The assessment results indicate: the supercritical method’s LCIA result is 3 times higher than the distilling method, but the liquid crystal extracting rate can reach 95% with a lower raw materials consumption; the environmental impacts of distilling method is lower than supercritical method, but its extracting rate of liquid crystal can only get to 50%. For industrial applications, supercritical method has greater advantages and there are more crafts to perfect for distilling method in improving the recovery rate of liquid crystal.

Abstract: The micro-arc oxidation process parameters of AZ91D Mg alloy and Na2WO4 concentration were optimized by orthogonal experiment. SEM, EDX, XRD, potentiodynmic polarization and immersion corrosion test were carried out to investigate the morphologies, phase composition and corrosion resistance of the MAO coatings. The results shown that the MAO coating are mainly composed of MgOMg2SiO4MgAl2O4,MgWO4 and a small amount of amorphous material as well as with a double layer structure, outer loose and inner denser, the proper parameters and additive concentration were: 300Hz,5.0A/dm2,50%/50% and 2.0g/l Na2WO4. The MAO coatings coated under the proper condition on AZ91D Mg alloy motorcycle parts provided the far batter corrosion resistance than the substrate, suggesting that MAO coatings can effectively protect the motorcycle parts against the erosion from corrosion medium. Meanwhile, it also found that the irregular part shape has some influence on the coatings formation as well as corrosion resistance.

Abstract: Reactive block copolymer SEBSMB was used as modifier to toughen epoxy resin. The results indicate that ideal enhancement of toughness could be achieved by this method. The impact strength increases with increase of the content of SEBSMB in the matrix and it could be enhanced by 200% at 20wt% addition of the modifier. DMA and TG results show that the modified resin exhibits similar thermal stability as compared with pure epoxy resin. The toughening effect may be ascribed to the unique self-assembling structure of SEBSMB in the matrix and a hypothetical model was proposed.

Abstract: By adjusting the chemical composition, optimizing the heat process and using special quenching equipment, a extra-thick complicated end forging with flange is made. The result shows that the extra-thick complicated end forging obtains homogeneous mechanical property.

Abstract: In the process of functionally gradient material entity modeling, in order to meet the design requirements, one needs to constantly change coefficient of material composition equation. In order to facilitate visual design of functionally graded material entities within the distribution, the method based on gradient material source be adopted to directly change the coefficient of material composition functions, and according to the coefficient of material composition equation function image to choose material composition functions. Homogenous approaching gradient is used, the feasibility of change of gradient direction transformatio is proved.

Abstract: A kind of Polyimide films (PI films) containing biphenyl and bis-benzimidazole rings were prepared from the its precursor Polyamic acid (PAA) solution synthesized by aromatic diamine containing biphenyl and bis-benzimidazole rings with different commercial aromatic dianhydrides. The PI films exhibited excellent hydrophobicity with the contact angle of higher than 90o and the hydroscopicity are lower than 1%. The PI films also have great dielectric properties of the dielectric constant ranges from 2.10 to 2.94 under the voltage frequency within 1 to 106 HZ.

Abstract: The sheet polymrtic iron (III) porphyrin complex [PFe (III)TPP] was prepared and charactrtized by FT-IR, TG-DTA and DTG, SEM and XPS. It was applied to catalytic oxidation of styrene with molecular oxygen and exhibited excellent catalytic activity. The results showed that the conversion reached to 50.5% in mild concitions, the major products of benzaldhyde (65.2% at 90°C) were obtained, and the catalyst could be efficiently reused five times.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate the semi-solid state joining of SSM 356 aluminum alloy which welded at its semi-solid state by using oxygen - acetylene as a heat source. Then a stirrer was used to stir the weld seam. Joining was performed under nitrogen shielding gas. The parameters of this study were rotation speed at 1,110 and 1,320 rpm, welding speed at 120 and 160 mm/min, semi-solid state temperatures 575-590 and 590-610 oC. The results indicated that the weld's microstructure consisted of irregular globular structure. In addition, porosities were found at top of weld metal. The highest tensile strength and elongation were obtained from rotation speed at 1,110 rpm, welding speed at 120 mm/min and joining temperature at 575-590 oC.
