Abstract: Energy conservation is a long-term strategic approach of economic development. Subway is a most important way of urban mass transit, the energy consumption of subway accounted for a large part in mass transit. Therefore, retrofitting the subway for energy saving is close to the current policy, it can relieve the energy pressure, so it plays an important role on the sustainable development of economy. This paper conducted a survey of Beijing subway energy consumption, and summed up annual energy consumption data of the Beijing subway lines. Based on this research, this paper shows the energy-saving potential of the Beijing subway. Also it lays the foundation of energy saving transformation for subway.

Abstract: Containerization greatly reduced the expenses of international trade and increased cargo turnover speed. However, there are many empty containers due to the imbalance of trade between the port and many importers or exporters. Currently, loaded containers only carry international cargoes, and very little work has been done on the dual-load transportation of using empty containers to carry regional cargoes. Empty containers carry regional cargoes have a very high profit, but usually with little quantities; most importantly, it is usually the case that we need to detour, in which case, this kind of cargoes is not worth carrying when it cannot make a certain profit. Thus a mathematic model about dual-load transportation of empty containers was discussed in this paper and a cost-benefit ratio (R) is adopted to determine the suitability of carrying regional cargoes using empty containers.

Abstract: The container port develops from the traditional loading and unloading transportation to the modern comprehensive logistics industry. Its function has made great extension, however the logistics system needs to be further integration optimization , this paper aims at the present stage of the unbalanced development of port container transportation , the service and coordinated ability is weak , the consciousness of cooperative competition is more poorer , the multimodal transportation is imperfection, the construction of information automation lag and so on, proposing measures to strengthen technological innovation , improve the consciousness of cooperative competition , and improve the level of container transportation services , etc. speeding up the integrated optimization of Container port logistics system resources and give full play to the container port overall advantage ,so as to promote competition ability .

Abstract: Dock congestion has been becoming increasingly troublesome problem in some regional hub ports in China, resulting in additional operational costs to feeder line shipping companies. To reduce the waiting times at the hub and to lower the operational cost, some companies place a pontoon close to the hub port as floating container terminal to berth smaller containerships. We discuss the justification for setting pontoons close to the hub from the viewpoint of a shipping company, propose a berthing decision model and describe a modified genetic algorithm to optimize the process. Simulation tests show that pontoon setting and rational scheduling can greatly alleviate congestion at the regional hub.

Abstract: Gas station has a potential safety hazard, which would affect lives and property security of residents around it, once an accident occurs, it needs to be rescued immediately. We focus on locating a master station of gas station from the perspective of rescue, add a class of decision points (rescue points) and take rescue costs after the accident into consideration. The model for location is established, and show genetic algorithm for computing it. This provides a theoretical basis for relevant departments planning gas stations location.

Abstract: In the past few years, e-commerce is viewed as creating challenges and opportunities for business leaders and inter-disciplinary researchers. While most firms realize that it is necessary to assess performance of logistics system, the performance measurement of E-commerce logistics system still remains unexplored. This essay starts by discussing the measures and metrics of E-commerce logistics system from the strategic, tactical and operational level. Then, a methodology based on the extent fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is proposed to prioritize performance measurement indicators in E-commerce logistics system. The application of this methodology helps us to understand the performance of E-commerce logistics system and the results are useful both to practitioners in E-commerce firms and to researchers carrying out further studies in the field.

Abstract: This paper presented a formal analysis for the alternative of logistics centralization and decentralization policy in a two-echelon distribution system. First, functions of transportation and inventory costs under different policies in the system were developed. Second, the differences between transportation and inventory costs were compared, and the relationship between transportation and inventory cost difference was analyzed through a balance ratio. At last, some indicators were derived to measure the level of demand uncertainty, the amount of retailers and the size of customer orders. It shows that the optimal logistics policy can be determined as a tradeoff between transportation and inventory costs. And the indicators can provide a basis for selecting the optimal logistics policy.

Abstract: Logistics industry is considered as the artery and basic industry of national economic development, its development level has become an important index to measure modernization and comprehensive national strength of a country. Meanwhile, modern logistics zone tends to more maximization, intelligent and ecological. Based on E-commerce platform, logistics park planning should actively develop e-commerce, build e-commerce platform, integrate leisure tourism experience service into traditional logistics park to enhance its popularity, build brand and drive the aggregation of people.

Abstract: According to the problem of aid spot selection in emergent accident, this paper proposes a plan model which is based on traffic preponderance. In the model, the considered factors includes nearby personnel distribution, the number of aided personnel per week, the traffic status, personnel attitude to the hospital. The goal of the model is to optimize the sum of weighed distance between distributing personnel in minimized region and aid resource, so the model is called discrete integer plan model. Finally, the model is applied in a case and solved by genetic algorithm.

Abstract: Freight transport demand forecasting as one of the basis in urban logistics planning, is not only an important premise of designing a variety of logistics development policies and infrastructure constructions, but also a key indicator to measure whether the logistics planning is reasonable. This paper addresses the methods of the freight transport demand forecasting in urban logistics planning based on a case study of Yiwu city. Considering the change of long-term trend emphatically, conventional trend extrapolation method, regression analysis method, elasticity coefficient method, linear exponential smoothing method and grey model are applied to predict the logistics demand of Yiwu city respectively. Then the results of five kinds of forecasting methods are analyzed to obtain the final forecasting logistics demand.
