Abstract: Along with the rapid growth of world trade, new requirement for throughput efficiency of modern container port are put forward. The existing optimization method to research the transport of the container terminal is single and complex. So in this article, the quantitative integrated optimization of the quay cranes and the trucks is made and the research scale is enlarge, in order to improve the efficiency of the research results. A model is built based on queuing network theory, and the mathematical algorithm is used to solve the model. Some experiments are used to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this study. The result shows that developed a genetic algorithm get the most optimal ratio of resource, and through a series of numerical examples . Are given The method to match the quay cranes and the trucks at container port logistics system, obtained by the techniques and algorithms in this study, can improvs the comprehensive efficiency of container ports.

Abstract: The reasonable dispatching and scheduling of the Tandem Quay Cranes and trucks is the foundation to improve the efficiency of the container terminals. Under the base of single lift quay cranes research, a research on Tandem Lift Quay Cranes and Yard Trucks scheduling is carried on in this paper. A mixed integer programming (MIP) model can be built to solve an integrated tandem lift quay crane and yard truck scheduling problem (i-TLQCYT). A Local Sequence-cut Method is applied to solve the model. Then the shortest time to complete the unloading operations can be got.

Abstract: In the operation of container terminal, berth allocation and quay crane assignment problems (BACAP) always prevent the container terminal from reducing time of ships in port and improving utilization of equipment. In this paper, the objective is to minimize total time of ships in port. Some reasonable and necessary hypotheses are proposed. The mathematical optimization model of BACAP based on the hypotheses is established. The genetic algorithm is used to solve the nonlinear programming model.

Abstract: Logistics has become an important part of growth in China. The rapid logistics industrial development could be attributed to the industrial agglomeration in the country. Panel data methods are used to analyze the factors influencing the logistics industry agglomeration. In the model, location quotient is considered as a dependent variable. Per Capita Gross Regional Product, Freight Traffic in Railways, Freight Traffic in Highways, Average Wage of Employed Persons in Transport, Storage and Post, Gross Regional Product in Wholesale and Retail Trades are selected as independent variables. Location quotient of the 31 provinces in China was calculated, and then obtained the fixed effects model. The results show that these five factors can affect logistics industry agglomeration both negative and positive effects. The Freight Traffic in Railways and Average Wage of Employed Persons in Transport, Storage and Post are negatively related to agglomeration degree, while the others are contrary.

Abstract: The berth and quay crane in port are scarce resources. The scheduling optimization of them affects the ship's operating costs directly. In this paper we build an integration optimization model of berth allocation and quay crane scheduling to minimize the operating costs of quay crane and operating costs of the ships. A new genetic and ant colony algorithm is designed to solve this model.

Abstract: This paper applied panel vector auto-regressive (PVAR) technique to analysis the influence of tax revenue on traffic Industry Growth, with 31-provinces panel data over 2007-2011 in China. We obtained the following results. First, the relationship between traffic industry growth and tax is negative in the whole. The impact of the postal services sector on traffic growth is the strongest. Second, the contribution of transportation sector tax for traffic industry growth influence is the biggest, while warehousing sector is the smallest. Third, the response of traffic industry growth to postal services sector tax shock is the strongest, while to transportation sector shock is weak.

Abstract: Big swings in international iron ore market have been paid widespread attention in recent years. To study its fluctuation characteristics, the seasonality of China's imported iron ore throughput (IIOT) are investigated. First, the status quo of China's IIOT in coastal ports is analyzed. The affecting factors of IIOT are discussed. Secondly, statistical data of China's IIOT is seasonally adjusted by the X-12-ARIMA method. The empirical results indicate that there exists obvious seasonality for China's IIOT. Averagely, the imported volumes are higher in March and April, but lower in August and October. Finally, some affecting factors of IIOT seasonality are discussed.

Abstract: This paper explains and demonstrates how to compensate practitioners of the requisitioned civilian transportation for the loss in emergency in accordance with the rule of law, international practices and traffic economics theory. Civilian transportation is important traffic strength in emergency. Transportation impressments are related to various traffic modes including railway, highway, airlift, waterage, and determining how to find a compensatory price method is the main objective. Some foreign cases, related to economic compensation of civilian transportation, were introduced in national emergency impressments. Subsequently. Economic compensation pricing problem was analyzed according to pricing principles of transportation economics.

Abstract: Nowadays, urban freight transport has become one of the most significant contributors to congestion and pollution. To combat these negative impacts, local authorities implement some restrictive regulations imposed on logistic enterprises about the time and area to which their vehicles can access. Under this circumstance, this paper constructed a city distribution routing optimization model considering access restriction. A Genetic Algorithm was proposed to solve the model. Numerical experiments based on the Solomons benchmark problems proved the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithms.

Abstract: By analyzing the current domestic situation of non-motorized traffic and referring to European and other foreign advanced experience, the paper takes comprehensive consideration of time and distance. Division curve model is used to forecast and analyze non-motorized traffic demand. The paper studies and explores the effective combination way of the motorized and non-motorized traffic deeply. Transportation planning and traffic organization mode about the transport way in the CBD, scenic spots are proposed in the paper.
