Abstract: Perimeter Monitor system uses multi-sensors to collect environment information, Hundreds of software modules inside the system core will handle the sensor data, make decisions and give out warnings or alarms. Reliability and performance matter a lot in this kind of system design, while sensors and software modules upgrade frequently, extensibility is also a key factor. In this paper, we introduce service bus principle into the design of monitor system, making a real-time, reliable and extensible perimeter security protection system.

Abstract: Multi-unit operation in building automatic system (BAS) is an important part for the equipment operation; it is essentially a distributed multi agent system (MAS). In this paper, Petri net is adopted to establish the control model about the equipment operation in BAS, know the operating characteristics and start-stop conditions of energy consumption equipment in the rail which are in under different circumstances. Based on the analysis of BAS and the theory of distributed intelligent systems, according to the actual environment and energy requirements, the start-stop arrays are selected dynamically as the basis for the units operating, and ultimately achieve energy-saving operation of multi-unit control purposes.

Abstract: Non-line-of-sight optical imaging technology is a novel application of imaging technology developed recently, achieving the effective imaging of the corner, basements and other scenes which are difficult to be directly observed by traditional vision with intermediate reflective surface. Smooth building walls, such as tiles and marbles, are typical intermediate reflective surfaces. Because reflecting surface is neither ideal specular reflective nor Lambertian reflective, the reflection characteristics of the intermediate reflective surface have a significant impact on the non-line-of-sight imaging. Based on the test data of the spectral bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) of common smooth tiles, the surface transfer function and angle spread function of smooth tiles are established according to the Harvey-Shack surface scatter theory in the paper. And the descriptions of the characteristics of specular reflection and forward scattering are implemented. Furthermore, according to the measured BRDF data at a certain wavelength for a certain angle of incidence, we can predict the reflection and scattering distribution at any other wavelengths or for other incident angles. The simulation results indicate that the curves fitted by the model basically are in agreement with the measured data, so that the simulation of the specular reflection and the forward scattering in the model is valid.

Abstract: A novel mutiscale and directionally adaptive image transform called contour based directionlet tansform is presented. Directionlet transform (DT) has shown its charming performance in image processing, but it has scrambled frequencies. Laplacian Pyramid is employed here to separate the low frequencies before applying DT for avoiding the drawback. And an adaptive threshold algorithm is proposed for denoising. Numerical experiments are performed to assess the applicability of the proposed method. The obtained results show that the proposed scheme outperforms Wavelet and Directionlet transforms in terms of numerical and perceptual quality.

Abstract: Aiming at the engineering-oriented application requirements of the equipment requirement demonstration, the demonstration process driven by models is regarded as the essential goal. Firstly, the activities and the modeling requirements of the equipment requirement demonstration are analyzed in detail. Thereafter, the model system of the equipment requirement demonstration is built. Focusing on the design of the model base, the model-driven model development process and the design pattern of the models based on MVC are put forward and discussed emphatically. The VV&A mechanism is designed to improve the quality of the models. According to the management requirements of the model base, the model management technology based on ontology is put forward, and then the run mechanism of the model base is studied. Throughout all these designs, the models simulating the equipment requirement demonstration activities can be understood and reused better, and can satisfy the elementary requirements building the toolkits based on these models. Simultaneity, the equipment requirement demonstration activities can be regulated and formalized with the toolkits.

Abstract: This article describes the use of the average population density estimation methods based on video statistical analysis, and mainly discussed the research and application of the air conditioning energy-efficient system in the subway. The distributed intelligent control system in the subway station platform captured video images by more than one camera sensors, according to the computer image processing methods, for example it have the unique advantages for the fuzzy neural network to model the human nervous system in fuzzy information processing. This article used the improved Meanshift algorithm based on pixel energy to capture the moving target in the video. This method can legitimately divide the crowd by achieving the image intelligent analysis data, and whats more, it can help to get the estimation of population density.

Abstract: Architecture is proposed for a Wavelength Division Multiplexed (WDM) optical packet switch equipped with both limited range wavelength converters (LRWCs) and parametric wavelength converters (PWCs). A scheduling algorithm is defined to control optical packet forwarding in a synchronous scenario. Simulation results dictate that significant improvement in performance in terms of packet loss probability when compared with architectures employing LRWCs.

Abstract: We report here experimental data for transmission of electromagnetic waves through a variety of softmaterial structures made of plastic tubes and ionic solutions, as compared to that in the free space. The results firmly support the theory on softmaterial waveguides in the environment of ionic solutions. This is a solid step towards a better understanding of the underlying physics for the electrical communication in biosystems through axons and membranes. It also offers valuable insight for further experiments with artificial materials at the nanoscale, and experiments in live animals.

Abstract: In this paper, we analyzed the endurance of Nand Flash memory and then proposed a level adjusting scheme to use the MLC Flash dynamically to storage different amount of data levels through the entire lifetime. The result shows that the MLC SSD adopting this method could be totally written 4.8X more data than conventional MLC SSD and 16.5% more than SLC SSD.

Abstract: A flexible hemispherical coverage array antenna based on multi-planar arrays is proposed to meet the growing demands for multi-target TT&C. The advantages and disadvantages of multi-planar arrays and dome phased in engineering implement are compared. Meanwhile, the influence of different number of plane arrays on antenna pattern is analyzed. For the purpose of interference suppression a novel beamforming method by adding constraint conditions is analyzed to enhance the performance of antenna for TT&C system. System simulation is done based on the multi-planar arrays antenna. The feasibility of hemispherical coverage and the performance of anti-jamming are verified. Finally, a comprehensive summary is given.
