Research on Stress Intensity Factor of Wheels with Cracks

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on the stress intensity factor criterion, it analyzes the crack extension on wheel web hole of 840D freight train. By changing the lengths of the crack to calculate the different stress intensity factors, it gets the change law of the stress intensity factor in crack propagation process, which provides a strong theoretical basis for detecting the cracks and repairing the wheels of 840D freight train.
