Abstract: Since China's move towards reform and opening up, the problem of environmental pollution has becomes more and more serious. This paper tried to reveal the pollution level, distribution characteristics, migration patterns, and sources of the pollutants in Jiaozhou Bay in 1979. Results showed that, in 1979, waters in Jiaozhou Bay had little been contaminated by Cd, Cr, Pb, and Hg; while bad been contaminated by HCH and PHC in a certain level. The major pollution sources of Cd, Cr, Pb, Hg, HCH, and PHC could be considered as point source, dry and wet deposition, wastewater and sewage, rock weathering, and agricultural non-point source, respectively. The temporal, horizonal and vertical distributions of pollutants in Jiaozhou Bay in 1979 had showed the influences of human activities on environmental quality, even if in the beginning of the reform and opening-up in China. The development of social and economic development should be on the base of protecting environment and concordant to the capacity of nature.

Abstract: Rock wool belt and board have been applied to ETICS increasingly with the improvement of fire requirements. The safety of rock wool ETICS in use is the key issue, and will have great influence on its application. Therefore, some related subjects were studied in this paper by experiments, theoretical calculation and engineering practice. The results indicate that there are reasonable solutions for the safety of rock wool ETICS in use.

Abstract: In view of the common primary and secondary school teaching buildings (including library) that are masonry structure, and discussed the key technology of the reinforced masonry structure seismic, including mesh reinforcement cement mortar reinforced wall, cantilever beam end set column, design method and construction points of adding staircase column. This technology could provide reference for other similar seismic strengthening engineering.

Abstract: Based on the Protojiakonov's theory and Rankine's earth pressure theory, the existing open trench tunnel under ground asymmetric load, the failure mode of the surrounding rock and the calculation of the surrounding rock pressure will be analysed in this paper. According to the buried depth, the analysis shows that the surrounding rock pressure calculation can be divided into three situations: when the tunnel is deep buried, the Protojiakonov's theory is used to calculate the surrounding rock pressure; when the tunnel is shallow buried and the side wall generate soil arching effect, the surrounding rock pressure calculation of the side wall will consider the soil arching effect and use the Protojiakonov's theory. However, another side wall will use the Rankine's earth pressure theory; when the tunnel is shallow buried and the side wall can't generate soil arching effect, regarding the two side walls as retaining walls according to the Rankine's earth pressure theory.

Abstract: Taking urban rail transit stations’ passenger direct attracting scope as the research object, selecting three types of station in Nanjing Metro Line 1 to field survey respectively from traveler's basic information, traveler’s travel conditions and site surrounding environment to find out the impact factors having great difference among the sites and having great influence as independent variables, radial distance of urban rail transit station’s walking radiation area as dependent variable, establishing a linear equation used to determining the scope of radiation. This formula applied to determine the site practical walking radiation range has reference significance and certain rationality.

Abstract: A typical office building with stratum ventilation as the research object was studied in this paper. CFX Fluid Computation software was used to numerical simulate the characteristics of indoor thermal environment effected by air speeds under 19°C supply air temperature and 8 ventilation rate. The numerical simulate results showed that, the obvious thermal stratification occurred in the vertical direction. Such thermal stratification met the demands of building energy conservation and the human thermal comfort. In this paper, the velocity coefficient and the temperature coefficient were used to evaluate thermal comfort. From the results of the numerical simulation, it could be seen that when the supply air speeds were controlled between 0.5m/s to 0.9m/s, the thermal comfort, as well as the air supply efficiency in the human activity area was relative satisfactory. With the constant fresh air ventilated to the breathing zone, the air quality could be improved.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the impact factor, combined with practical engineering experience to extract the main influencing factors, and based on research data on the major beneficial factor for statistical analysis to understand trends from the road cost; selection of multiple linear regression model, the unit cost per lane kilometer as the dependent variable, the cost factor as independent variables, the cost estimate to build the macro-factor model and the cost of each grade highway microeconomic factors estimation model.

Abstract: A finite element model of tailings dam model was used to simulate the steady seepage field and analysis the stability under different working conditions. The head contour, velocity, seepage flow and seepage gradient was analyzed. The stability against sliding in this tailings dam was analyzed with the help of the simplified Bishop method which is based on rigid body limit equilibrium coupled with seepage force. The security coefficient under different working conditions was calculated. The analysis result shows that the safety factor meets the specification requirements, and which provides reference for the stability evaluation of tailings dam.

Abstract: The mooring system initial design is quasi-static method based on catenary method. The mooring line stiffness derivation also base on catenary method. In the paper, using jumping wire of high voltage cable calculation method, design the mooring system. Building initial design model, considering the mooring line stiffness and drift angle of mooring line and structure.

Abstract: The core problem of fully mechanized top-coal caving technology is to accurately grasp residual coal distribution characteristics and improve the recovery rate to the highest possible. Based on the top-caving working site in some coal mine, combined with the numerical simulation on the residual coal in end roadway, the distribution of residual coal is analyzed. Corresponding improvements on the production system have been proved to be efficient for recovering the residual coal.
