Abstract: In order to solve the problems in current laminated slabs among prefabricated structure, a new kind of laminated slab with shear connectors (LSSC) is proposed. In the previous study, the force behavior of it is analyzed. In this study, how the main factors influence the force behavior of them are analyzed to provide a basis for designing. LSSC with different influencing factors are designed, including area percentage of shear connectors, friction coefficient and length to width ratio, and their loading process is simulated by using finite element software ABAQUS. The corresponding load-deflection curves are also extracted. By comparing these curves in diagram, the following conclusions can be gotten: the area percentage of shear connectors and the length to width ratio are the important factors that influences load-deflection curves; yet the effect of the friction coefficient on the load-deflection curves is not obvious.

Abstract: In order to provide a basis for designing outer annular-stiffener type steel castellated beam (OATSCB) - concrete filled steel tube (CFST) joint, the factors that influence the load-displacement skeleton curve of this kind of joint is analyzed. OATSCB - CFST joint with different influencing factors are designed, and their loading process is simulated by using finite element software ABAQUS. Before simulating, the simulating method is verified by previous test result. The corresponding load-displacement skeleton curves of those joints are also extracted. By comparing these curves in diagram, the following conclusions can be gotten: OATSCB - CFST joint has good seismic performance; steel yield strength, steel ratio and beam to column linear stiffness ratio are the important factors that influences the skeleton curve of this type of joint; opening rate is an important factor for this type of joint to form "strong column weak beam" yield mechanism.

Abstract: To improve the static strength of tubular T-joint, the method of reinforcing with collar casing pipe is proposed. The finite element analysis (FEA) models of reinforced and unreinforced tubular joints built by FEA software (ABAQUS) are calculated to investigate the improving efficiency under axial compression and tension. It is found that collar casing pipe can improve the static strength of tubular joint effectively. Afterwards, based on the mechanism analysis of tubular T-joint models, the failure modes and different performances between reinforced and unreinforced models are clarified.

Abstract: Through a long time test for creep of 9 PC (plain concrete) and RC cylinders, obtained the long-term creep rule of PC and RC cylinders, the results show that the different loading ages of PC have a greater influence on the creep coefficient, the larger loading age of concrete cylinders, the smaller of concrete creep coefficient. The experiment indicates that the measured creep rule of creep coefficient is basically the same under different loading ages with the same reinforcement ratio of concrete cylinders, the loading age have smaller influence on long-term creep of reinforced concrete cylinders. Based on the measured long-term rule of concrete creep, using the least square method to nonlinear fitting of experimental data, obtained the final value of creep coefficient of the PC under different loading ages, compared the applicability of loading age correction coefficient in the China Institute of building model and CEB-FIP (1990) model for low intensity concrete (≤C40), the results show that the predicted results of loading age correction coefficient in the China Institute of building model are agree well with the measured values, and calculated values of loading age correction coefficient in CEB-FIP (1990) model is large, for low strong concrete (≤C40), the prediction values of loading age correction coefficient in the China Institute of building model should be adopted to linear interpolation.

Abstract: The walls of some masonry structure engineering are tested with in-situ axial compression method. By the test data is showed that the compressive strength of the masonry between slots is met the requirements of the relevant building codes. The results can provide a reliable basis for the appraisal of engineering quality. But the test data are far bigger than the characteristic values of masonry strength. Because the shear stress on both sides of masonry between slots is ignored.

Abstract: The mechanical properties of cross beam in continuous box girder bridge can be obtained through analyzing the finite element model and measured data of bridge. A new simplified calculation method for cross beam is proposed in this paper, which is called modified shear method. Comparative analysis with traditional method is used to verify its feasibility and practicability.

Abstract: Three joints of prestressed concrete frame are studied under low frequency reversed loading. The failure and cracks feature, damage characteristics and mechanical properties under seismic loads are comparatively analysed between joints with spread-ended beams and conventional joints. Studies show that the layout of prestressing tendons and joints with spread-ended beams have little influence on the bearing capacity and ductility. Prestressing tendons through the joint core region can improve the shear strength of joints, but tendons through the joint outer region can not. We need to only consider the influence on the area of prestressing tendons through joint core region when calculating the shear strength of joints.

Abstract: Vibration serviceability under wind load is always one of the crucial problems for the structural design of high-rising buildings. The most often used evaluation criterions in the world are compared and analyzed systematically in the paper. The features and shortcomings are pointed out, and some advices are proposed. The research can provide references for the improvement of evaluation criterion in China and vibration serviceability evaluation for high-rising buildings.

Abstract: Base on the existing condition that the bearing capacity is insufficient of some aging reinforced concrete (RC) members with axial tension, the formula for calculating the tensile capacity of the RC members strengthened with externally bonded carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) sheets is deduced and experiments of 8 RC members are conducted to examine the influences of CFRP sheets on the cracking load and ultimate load of the RC members. The calculation formulas agree with the experimental data and give the reference to the practical projects. The study is instructive and useful in strengthening of RC members with externally bonded CFRP sheets under axial tension.

Abstract: Firstly, the technology of screw pile is introduced briefly. It has high body quality, high bearing capacity and wide application prospect. Then, based on engineering examples, the results of static load test and high strain testing for the bearing capacity of SCREW PILE foundation are analyzed contrastively. The bearing capacity value tested by high strain dynamic testing is higher than the static loading test’s with 13%~21%, which should be attached importance in the check and accept and application of the screwed pile. The analysis and sum up of testing results should be considered to the design and application of screwed pile, providing some reference to the quality judge and bearing capacity confirming is another purpose in the paper.
