Abstract: With the continued rapid economic development in recent years, Urumqi, vehicle scale continues to expand, prompting the city traffic was a rapid growth trend, Outer Ring Road as a fast loop only existing within the city limits, borne traffic has far exceeded the original design prediction traffic volume and the actual capacity, resulting in a number of sections, interchange nodes, often made of ramp entrances become congested road, the outer ring road to solve the congestion problem, and it needs to be rebuilt to meet the expansion needs of the new era. Urumqi City East Outer Ring Expressway road expansion reconstruction project, for example, to explore the elevated expansion of the project construction methods, summarize experience in construction, hoping to provide a reference for future similar projects.

Abstract: They are researched about the influence of ice-broken performance of granulated crumb rubber amount of admixture, thickness of pavement layer, thickness of ice layer and temperature to granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture by the method of laboratory simulation test. From the research it is indicated that the closer the granulated crumb rubber approach to upper surface of mixture, the larger the amount of admixture is, the more thickness the surface of granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture is, the better effect of wiping ice off will be. With the reduction of temperature and increase of ice layer thickness, the effect of wiping ice off through granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture will weaken gradually.

Abstract: Pavement performance of aeolian sand as roadbed filling in the desert area has its particularity which is different from ordinary fill. Based on the analysis of the basic physical properties of aeolian sand by laboratory test,the influence laws of resilient modulus and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) static indexes of the aeolian sand are studied by moisture content, dry density, degree of compaction according to engineering in desert area of Khorchin of Inner Mongolia. The results benefit to the similar engineering construction in this area.

Taking small radius curve as research object, by researching on traveling track and design of widening small radius curve, super elevation, center line as well as security problems of traffic facilities, puts forward measures on safety design on small radius curve of mountain road.

Abstract: In order to improve the durability of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement, different amount of TPS modifier are added into granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture to do tests of water-boiling, water immersion, immersing Marshall, cantabro immersion and some other indoor experiments. Through comparing with base asphalt and SBS modified asphalt, we found that the adhesion ability of asphalt and mineral aggregate and crumb rubber were granulated after adding TPS modifier. The water stability of granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture is improved. The durability of granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture has also been improved dramatically. In additions, the optimum mixing volume of TPS for granulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture is 12%; the mixing temperature of asphalt mixture is 185°C.

Abstract: Based on the multi-layer elastic system theory, large general used finite element software is used to analysis in the paper. The pavement structure layer bottom three-direction maximal shear stress SXY, SYZ and SXZ are computed under the different axis load for four kind combinations. Through contrasting the three direction shear stress, the paper obtained some curves and laws about the pavement structure layer bottom three-direction shear stress along with the axis load change.

Abstract: Empirical acoustic models were developed for dense-graded and open-graded asphalt concrete. Tire/pavement noise data were collected from in-service flexible pavements at different frequency bands for four consecutive years. These data were panel structured, and with a portion of observations missed arbitrarily. A Monte Carlo Markov Chain (MCMC) sampling and a multiple imputation (MI) algorithm were used to capture the unobserved heterogeneity and deal with missing observations by Bayesian simulations that are associated with the data. Models for the two mixes at different frequency bands were constructed. Major findings of the study include: first, tire/pavement noise increases with age at all frequency bands; second, tire/pavement noise level increases with air-void content of the surface mixes at medium and high frequencies but decreases at low frequencies; third, tire/pavement noise level increases with mean profile depth (MPD) at low and medium frequencies but decreases at high frequencies; and fourth, open-graded mix has low noise level compared to its dense-graded counterpart.

Abstract: At a serious rail corrugation line along Beijing metro Yi-zhuang line, one experiment of controlling rail corrugation has done. Based on the test and analysis of rail vibration decay rate, rail surface roughness and vibration acceleration on the rail and track bed before and after install TRD, it is concluded that install TRD on rail waist could improve rail damping, enhance rail vibration decay rate, speed up vibration wave propagation decay in the rail, reduce the vertical vibration of rail and track bed, and control the development of rail corrugation.

Abstract: There are many kinds of materials and technology for asphalt pavement crack treatment. There are difference in treatment effect and the time spent, and significant differences between the treatment cost. In order to select reasonable crack treatment process and material, to choose the crack maintenance of advanced technology and environmental protection, it is necessary to put forward a scientific and reasonable method of asphalt pavement crack treatment. Three new concept of evaluation method of asphalt pavement crack treatment are put forward, such as durability evaluation index, economy evaluation index and process evaluation index. On this basis, the evaluation method of single asphalt pavement crack treatment is put forward, while the index of the quality of raw materials are determined.

Abstract: The special geographical, climatic conditions and geological structure in Tibetan Plateau making high steep rock slopes along the valleys wide-spread in this area, and they are especially common in the construction of highways. In this study, geological genesis and potential sliding mode are discussed firstly, then numerical model results as well as actual data are used to analyze the cause and influence depth of unloading fissures. Finally, common problems exist in rock slope are summed up. Based on these, natural state, disturbed state and steady state after reinforcement are analyzed respectively. It is believed that rock slopes in this area should be considered to minimize unloading, changing their shapes, and should try to reinforce actively or take positive reinforcement measures, so that the disturbance caused by rock soil environment will be effectively controlled, and the ecological restoration work will be done.
