Abstract: Local railway is mainly constructed by local investment or joint investment with other railways. It shoulders the transportation of local public passengers and short distance of railway goods, and bears the task of boosting local economy and domestic demands [1]. Choosing suitable local railway operation management mode could help to realize maximal economic benefits with least amount of investment, and best management. Through the analysis of China's local railway company operation and management model, this paper proposes five methods to guide how to choose local railway operation and management mode.

Abstract: Using molding with different fine aggregate, gradation, asphalt, aggregate forming and forming method, and calculate the sample porosity. The test results show that: The basalt coarse-fine aggregate molding, specimen void ratio was larger, are beyond the regulatory requirements; basalt coarse aggregate molding and limestone fine aggregate molding, specimen porosity is small, can meet the requirements of specification range. The main reason is that the basalt thin bulk density is big, and its not easy compaction.

Abstract: The particles of red sandstone will be softened under the dry-wet-cycle condition which leads to the decrease of red sandstone strength. In addition, the roadbed of red sandstone shows larger post construction settlement and differential settlement under mixing effects of the external load and the soil weight. For this reason, the research on the change of characteristics of settlement of red sandstone dynamic compaction embankment was conducted, adopting unequal interval grey model and equal-dimensional new information prediction model to predictively analyze the result of settlement variation. The results show that the results of equal-dimensional new information prediction model is much closer to the measurement, which means this prediction model is more applicable for the settlement prediction of dynamic compaction embankment. Consequently, practical reference could be provided for analogous project.

Abstract: Belonging to the Bentley Microstation series which work as one of the BIM platforms, the Bentley Power Rail Track shows huge advantages in the railway design for its visibility, high efficiency, advance, reliability and so on. This paper introduces the way to build the digital terrain model, alignments, cross sections, turnouts and to display the three-dimensional model of the railway for the Bentley Power Rail Track 3D railway design software. It provides application preparation for the BIM railway design and achieves the preliminary exploration of BIM applications. Bentley Power Rail Track proves capable of the BIM railway design.

Abstract: To study the anti-cracking mechanism of stress absorbing layer. This paper, which determines the parameter of the sand asphalt mix design of AC-5 and proceeds the mix design, is based on Xinyang freeway (The bid section 1 of Huazhuang-Xincai section). Asphalt content is tested by ignition oven asphalt content test.Screening aggregate recovered from ignition oven asphalt content test .Using roughness, thickness, compaction in field evaluation.The results show that the positive S model of aggregate gradation and reasonable construction temperature and construction technology are contributed to anti-cracking of stress absorbing layer.The impermeable SBS modified asphalt stress absorbing layer could prevent the base and subgrade from eroding.

Abstract: Reactive Powder Concrete is proposed to be used in the ballastless track for its excellent material properties due to existing problems of high speed railway ballastless track. Three different unit types of RPC frame slab track were proposed through optimization design and the mechanical behavior of these frame slab track was analyzed. The results show that the RPC slab track meet the requirements of bearing capacity, the suggested type of RPC slab track is a frame slab with increased thickness because of its higher techno-economic advantages.

Abstract: In order to guarantee the design quality of the pavement in a cold area, by analyzing the nature conditions in the area, such a cold and long winter, short summer and high altitude, based on the reason of road frost damage, not only submit the design measure according to the basic performance requirements of structure of materials and the thickness of frost layer, but also submit the design measures according to provision of drainage system, isolated layers and blocking groundwater sources..

Abstract: To guarantee the safe use of road runway for planes (hereafter referred to as road runway), based on the concept of planeness, not only three meters' straight edge, continuous planeness measuring equipment, vehicular jolt-integrator and evaluation variables mean square error were analyzed, but also conducted a comparative analysis to the roughness evaluation methods of functional road pavement, civil airports and military airports. Combining with the usage condition of ideograph in China, it offered an evaluation method for the asphalt pavement's roughness of road runway, which can provide references for the usage management of road runway.

Abstract: Asphalt pavements form an integral part of any transportation system. The structural capacity of the hot mix asphalt concrete layers depends on many factors including its temperature. Moreover, temperature can be a major contributor to several types of distresses. Therefore, temperature is a significant factor that affects the performance and life span of a pavement. The Libyan road network expanded at a phenomenal pace from approximately 1500 km of paved roads in 1970 to morethan 100,000 km in 2008. Ghat region is located on the southern east of Libya at latitude (24 59' N) in the desert. With the recent SHRP and LTTP research findings, it was necessary to investigate the applicability of the models developed from these research studies to Ghat's environmental conditions and more generally to the rest of Libyan desert reigions. This paper presents the research undertaken to develop models to predict high and low asphalt pavement temperatures in the Ghat region . A pavement monitoring station was set-up in Ghat to monitor air and pavement temperatures in different depth, wind speed and solar radiation. Data were collected for 365days. Daily minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded. A regression analysis was used to develop the minimum and maximum pavement temperature models, using air temperature, wind speed and solar radiation. This paper presents a new model for predicting maximum and minimum surface pavement temperature based on data collected by installed pavement monitoring station set-up at the Ghat region.

Abstract: Combined with dynamic consolidation Caofeidian area of land reclamation project examples, Vibration transmission mechanism of dynamic consolidation and reclamation of the foundation were explored, obtaining acceleration attenuation law, and studying and analyzing the impact of strong vibrating composite foundation. Research provide important theoretical basis to guide Dynamic Consolidation coastal reclamation foundation design and construction.
