Abstract: Palm-print medicine is a discipline in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), equivalent to thepalm-print diagnosis discipline and palm medicine. And it’s a meaningful work to combine the biometric identification technology with traditional Chinese palm-print medicine for the diagnosis of human diseases. According to the characteristics of palm-print images, this paper makes a simple summary of the key technology and core algorithm in the field of palm-print identification.

Abstract: Black soybean peptides (BSPs) with potent antioxidant activity were purified from black soybean protein hydrolysates (BSH) by using the ultrafiltration (UF) and macroporous adsorption resin (MAR), and in vivo antioxidant activity of the fraction BSP-DA-c was evaluated in aging mice induced by D-galactose. The results showed that orally administration of BSP-DA-c fraction at the dose of 500 and 1000 mg/kg per day could remarkably increase (P<0.05) the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in liver and the activity of GSH-Px in serum, the contents of MDA in serum and liver were reduced significantly (P<0.05), inferred that BSP-DA-c had strong antioxidant activity in mice.

Abstract: Objective: To study the chemical constituents from the root and stem of Zanthoxylum avicennae. Method: The constituents were separated by column chromatography, and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic data analyses. Result: Fourteen compounds were isolated from the EtOAc extract and identified as Avicennin (1), Xanthoxyletin (2), Luvangetin (3), Norchelerythrine (4), Diisobutyl phthalate (5), β-amyrin (6), Lupeol (7), Chelerythrine (8), Dictamine (9), γ-fagarine (10) and Skimmianine (11), Sesamin (12) Syringaresinol (13) and P-hydroxybenzoic acid (14). Conclusion: The compounds 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12 and 14 were obtained from this plant for the first time.

Abstract: With the advancement of science and technology, the precision of processing mechanical parts is increasingly high demand, the increasing number of small diameter deep hole parts, which puts forward higher requirements of deep hole processing equipment and Gun-Drill sharpening devices. The gun drill needed to be repeatedly regrinding, hand grinding method cannot guarantee the optimum tool geometry, so special grinding devices are necessities. This paper designed a fast Gun-Drill sharpening device, the grinding accuracy and efficiency were improved, and the device has been applied in actual production.

Abstract: Use Geomagic Qualify software, take the distance between the measure point and the surface model as the main evaluation index, respectively evaluate the quality of the shoe last surface reconstructed by tradition surface modeling way and quickly surface modeling approach, through 3D comparison, 2D comparison and special point comparison, get the 3D deviation chart and the error percentage distribution list, through the analysis and comparison of the charts, the two ways of surface reconstruction method are in line with the requirements of the surface, select the appropriate method of surface reconstruction according to the different requirements of surface reconstruction quality, provide the reference basis to surface measurement and surface reconstruction of other models.

Abstract: The research work, Ascertaining the connection type between evaporating tube bundle and a steam drum shell on a Natural Circulation marine supercharged boiler, is important. For this reason the method, calculating the low-cyle fatigue life of supercharged boiler steam drums put forward by Xin-wei Zheng, et al., was put to use; Based on the relevant basic data from design department and two typical running conditions of one supercharged boiler, the cumulative fatigue damage ratio of welding technique was calculated. The calculated result proves that it exceeds the maximum value of 1.0 and the upper limit value of 0.75 in fossil-fuel power plants, respectively. So welding technique can’t guarantee the low-cycle fatigue life of this steam drum, the only connection type is expanded joint, and the connection type has been put into practice.

Abstract: Mental cutting process, a widespread process in the machining, which can produce the maximum number of burrs. Burr detection and deburring are crucially important to safe reliability of parts. In order to avoid the effects of subjective factors effectively, and improve the production efficiency and production automation, we introduced the machine vision technique. According to the universal burrs produced in the cutting process, this paper principally studied the image segmentation, burrs feature extraction, the improvement of adaptability based on digital image processing. The authors conclude that the algorithm applied in this paper can detect the burrs information effectively, laid a solid foundation for automatic polishing, with the certain practical value.

Abstract: This paper proposes an adaptive stochastic resonance (SR) method based on alpha stable distribution for early fault detection of rotating machinery. By analyzing the SR characteristic of the impact signal based on sliding windows, SR can improve the signal to noise ratio and is suitable for early fault detection of rotating machinery. Alpha stable distribution is an effective tool for characterizing impact signals, therefore parameter alpha can be used as the evaluating parameter of SR. Through simulation study, the effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified.
