Dynamics Modeling of the Drive Mechanism for Flapping-Wing Micro Rotor

Article Preview

Abstract:

To represent the physical characteristics of the micro flapping wing rotor and to further control it, a dynamic model of the electromagnetic mechanism is necessary to be built. Lagrange’s equation method is used to model and analyze the relationship of input and output system parameters. Analysis shows the flapping frequency is the more critical one to decide the efficiency of the rotation of mechanism. Finally, simulation and test verify the mathematical model of its dynamics phenomena for future application.
